The Diwa Club by Alila

We stayed in the Diwa club and the staff there make a lasting impression with their friendliness, professionalism and attention to details. Overall was an amazing stay

The most amazing experience I’ve ever had. 7 days at Alila three of which were a wedding! It did not disappoint. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was superb. Pools were clean and maintained during the day. Gym was perfect with an exceptional view. Spa and massage was very relaxing and the staff were so professional. I couldn’t rate this place more highly. Thank you 🙏🏻

We stayed for 6 nights following a 12-night private tour from Bangalore during October 24 – this was our second visit during 2024. We are well travelled - and I see this hotel and location as viable alternative to the Caribbean or Dubai or the Far East Hotel complex divided into 2 separate entities whist sharing many of the facilities - Club guests can access to whole site whilst guests from ALIA do not get access to the Club facilities. The Club has its own entrance reception and dedicated staff. The accommodation is top quality – we stayed in room D365 - top floor overlooking pool - large room - divided into 2 - front half living/sleeping and remainder bathroom and storage - large comfy bed - slept well during our stay - better than at home - large walk-in shower - very good and controllable - all toiletries in pump action re-fillable containers Fridge - tea coffee - range of glasses - effective AC - ceiling fan - well lit - floor to ceiling windows Large balcony – a couple of day beds for lounging - table and chairs - drying rack Dedicated lounge – Bistro - breakfast from extensive menu - afternoon tea - canapés and drinks Large and dedicated swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols - patrolled for outsiders - no music. Short walk to main hotel for more restaurants - Vivo - all day dining – Club residents can get breakfast there. Spa - very good - treatments not overpriced - I had a haircut and beard trim which was well done – plus we both had ayurvedic based massages – very good. Staff make any hotel - very attentive - always ready to make your stay better or as smooth as possible - never pushy - never looking for next tip. There are shops a tailor restaurant massages and excursions and just outside the main gate - our beer shop also changed money at a reasonable rate There is a shuttle to take you to the nearby beach and a complimentary service that takes you to the nearest airport (GOI) with a current charge of 6000INR for the newer international airport (GOX) The food - this is often the elephant in the room - all tastes are catered for - if you want an Indian or English or Continental breakfast the choice is yours - if you don’t want spice there are other options - if you want chips (and who doesn’t) rather than rice it’s your choice - the hotel and/or surrounding restaurants will mean you won’t starve (or get ill) Whilst everything about hotel is very good, they could improve the quality of the toilet tissue - poor quality and gets bottom marks from me This is an interesting hotel - when we were here in January it was the wedding season - lots of Indian weddings - colourful noisy exuberant - but self-contained - we had the pool to ourselves despite the Wing being full - and no outside noise after 10 - this time it was conferences - again fully contained and entertained with no impact on the guests I like India and this hotel - Goa offers the weather - although not during our stay as we caught the end of the monsoon

Excellent resort, loved the whole experience. Very spacious bedrooms, excellent food and drink choices. The High Chai and Sundowner Hour are fab. Lovely pools. Really chilled vibe around the place. Had a very relaxing head message too. Staff are very polite and attentive. Isn't much to do in the local area, beach is gorgeous and that's about it...but not the fault of the resort.

This hotel in my view is a must visit. Very calming environment, the hotel pays attention to sustainability and providing calm and zen surroundings. Stunning rooms and balconies. The food was incredible and very competitively priced. Every single staff member has been friendly, kind and helpful.

Amazing hotel, Diwa club allows access to alila diwa goa facilities as well as it's own pool, free chai Pani at 4pm (chai and a plate of chats) Sundowners between 6-7pm and breakfast either in the main ALILA restaurant or you could choose ala carte breakfast in the bistro (you could have this any time between 7am to 7pm) Food in general was amazing. We stayed in a 2 bed suite which consistrd of 2 bedrooms, a lounge with a sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. It was huge. Staff were amazing, shout out to Raju for looking out for us in Bistro and. Sourav as well. Sachin at the spice restaurant who looked after us and Yash and Rohit. All staff were great. Taxis. Alila have a set tarrif on their taxis, but as we wanted to be more flexible we chose a taxi driver from outside the main Alila entrance. Beach, the beach is very nice, very quiet and clean,it's accessible via small mini van that goes up and down from the resort to the beach from 7 am to 7pm. You can also walk back but it's a good 10 minute walk. There are shacks on the beach and water sports are also available. Have to say it was amazing trip, all of 5 us enjoyed the trip.

Lovely, well maintained resort with incredible amenities. We stayed at the Diwa Club and really enjoyed Chai time and cocktail hour every evening with delicious snacks. The drinks and food throughout the resort at all the restaurants were delicious. Our room was perfect with a big comfy bed and super spacious bathroom. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. And the spa was such a perfect spot to relax, would highly recommend booking a massage or facial!

We arrived and were greeted by Aradhana whose welcome was so happy and relaxed and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The team at the Bistro were exceptional, Sourav,Raju,Declan,Brenden looked after us for our entire stay, also a mention for the wonderful chefs whose names escape me but worth a mention. Staff at front desk were helpful throughout our stay, another mention for the Happy Aradhana (alway smiling), Chelsea, Ashin, Shivraj and all! Their help and advice regarding local amenities was invaluable. For us it was all about the wonderful staff, aside from that the overall property was clean and so well looked after if the rooms maybe were a little tired but no complaints from us. Pools in both properties were stunning. Bistro All-day a la cart breakfast was welcomed and allowed us to please ourselves and take things in our own time. Chai Paani and Sundowners were excellent and justified our stay at The Club. Beach was lovely and clean, not too busy and great for an 8 mile or more hike in the heat. Area around outside hotel easy to navigate and many great options for meals and drinks out, special mention for Andre's Family restaurant and the handy excellent Camron just outside the gate. A perfect stay overall, sad to leave and hope to return. Well done to the team at Alila!

The stay was exceptional and the staff were vert frieny and tried their best to make our stay comfortable
