The Lawn Guest House

We would like to give high praise to The Lawn Guest House. Communication was excellent and we were picked up at the airport on time having been given clear directions as to what to do and where to meet. We had a lovely room, with coffee and tea and lovely clean linen. The accommodation was immaculate. Breakfast was timely and delicious. A problem of our own making; We had left a bag with our passports at a local restaurant the night before our flight and did not realize it until the following morning when we were scheduled to fly home. The Guest House were responsive and helpful: They called the restaurant, although we knew it did not open until noon, and left a message about our dilemma. They provided us with a phone so we could contact the airline and try to rebook a later flight and they assured us there was a room available should we need to stay another day. Fortunately, whilst talking to the airline, a call came through from the restaurant saying they had our bag and passports and someone would meet us at the restaurant to return them to us. The owner of the Guest House had already loaded our bags into his car and he then drove us to the restaurant to retrieve our passports before taking us to the airport just in time. We felt cared for and supported by the Lawn Guest House. I would highly recommend this accommodation for the owner's attention to detail and his genuine concern for the wellbeing of his clientele is commendable.
