Except the location a little far from Hanoi international airport, the services, food, villas are super nice. The peoples are gentle and welcoming

Wow! What a spectacular place! A truly once in a lifetime experience to stay in such an incredible hotel. Built on the side of a hill - our rooms were spacious and lovely. The facility was truly spectacular and jaw dropping. Delicious food and lovely service. Definitely experience some of the spa facilities!

The most beautiful hotel we have stayed in Vietnam. Truly spectacular. The bungalow was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable, amazing bathroom, the restaurant decor and quality of food and selection of wine was tasteful, and the staff very friendly. Their app for calling the buggy was almost instant! The day at the pool was marvellous. A true gem.

Our villa with a spectacular view of the valley was just incredible. So spacious, beautifully designed and great attention to detail. The food and service and amenities at the hotel were all 5 star. Would highly recommend and happily go back.

Avana Retreat sits among the terraced rice paddies of northern Vietnam's mountaineous region. It is a gorgeous setting for a beautiful resort. The individual rooms are actually whole luxury cabanas with large decks and overviews of the surrounding valley. The spa services are excellent and plentiful, held amidst waterfalls and vine covered treetops. The overall feel is of calm, meditative relaxation. The dining options are exceptional with both Western and local favorites offered at every meal. The staff are attentive and friendly, electric carts providing transportation to and from your cabana at all times of day, appreciated after long hikes in the area.

Leider sehr sehr enttäuschend. Im Zimmer ist es kalt , weil die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert , und oft geht einfach das Licht aus. Auch gibt es keine Außenbeleuchtung , sodass man mit der Handytaschenlampe zur Villa stolpern muss . Im Restaurant ist es ebenfalls viel zu kalt, und obwohl die meisten Gäste mit Daunenjacken und Decken da sitzen , hat das Personal keine Veranlassung , die Heizung (draußen 14 Grad) anzudrehen. Stattdessen werden dauernd Türen auf gemacht und nicht mehr verschlossen. Das Personal ist freundlich aber etwas unbeholfen . Die Anlage selbst ist sehr schön , obwohl Es sehr steil ist und wenn man nicht gut bei Fuss ist, kommt ein Buggy. Auch das Essen ist exzellent . Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt in der. Natur , aber sicher keine 5 Sterne.

Diese Lodge ist bemerkenswert in die Natur integriert. Die Unterbringung ist echt super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Schade, dass wir hier nur zwei Tage bleiben konnten. Wenn möglich, würden wir sehr gern noch einmal kommen. Die Mahlzeiten sind ausgewählt und sehr vietnamesisch, genau was wir wollten.
