Mai Chau Friendly Homestay

I booked this property through Agoda for October 27th to 29th. They requested I pay 50% of the fee to via bank transfer, which is fine by me, but they gave me a faulty bank account number, so I could not transfer them the money. I contacted the property (within two hours) to ask for a QR scan, which is a common way to transfer money with a local bank account in Vietnam. They did not respond and cancelled my reservation, taking the 50% booking deposit. Clearly this place has little consideration for supporting customers and just wants to rip people off.
