I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the Galaxy Beach hotel. The staff exhibited unprofessional behaviour including an incident where the entertainment manager yelled at me for declining to visit a nightclub. Additionally, the all-inclusive service was lacking, as staff members denied us drinks, and the bar was frequently closed. The food quality was poor, with the chips being either excessively hard or overly soft, not many options for people with specific dietary requirements. There was no food or allergies labels on the food, which was a struggle for me as suffering with IBS I can only eat certain food, this made me struggle to eat food during my time. The hotel manager reacted aggressively when we requested additional towels due to a leaking shower, initially refusing our request and ultimately providing only one towel for three guests, which was also unclean. As I was using the shower I had burned my back and scratched it all as there are taps in the showers and they are very small. Toilet roll was not given unless we asked for it, our hotel room was a 5 minute walk away from the reception and even when asking for it, the management was rude. Additionally, a towel belonging to my friend was taken from the balcony, and a bottle of pink gin went missing from our room while we were at the pool; when we inquired about it, the staff denied any wrongdoing and made me check the room again, only for me to discover that one of the maids had indeed taken it. The staff's behavior was inappropriate and unsettling, as they prohibited us from using the pool and consuming food or drinks on our final day leading to us having to inquire about it to our holiday representative who had to ensure that we had got what we had paid for and made sure we still could use the facilities on our last day. Furthermore speaking of this, our holiday representative booked only two people for two planned excursions instead of three, leading to unexpected extra charges. Attempts to contact him for clarification were met with silence, and we ended up paying €45 and €35 for the trips, which should have only cost €12 and €15 each. Due to all of this my holiday experience was a holiday from hell, I did not enjoy myself, due to all of the above I am really disappointed and upset. The other 2 passengers that travelled with me also feel the same. I hope you read this with great concern as this is not what I was expecting. I hope something serious gets said/done about this.
