My stay at Hotel Duke, Madurai, was good overall, with comfortable rooms, tasty food, and a nice complimentary breakfast. However, I had a bad experience with the night security guard on December 27, 2024. He was extremely rude and displayed discriminatory behavior toward people from Kerala, making inappropriate comments that were unacceptable. To make matters worse, I found several scratches on my car, and I strongly suspect the security guard was involved. Despite reporting this to the reception, no action was taken, and the issue was ignored. While the morning guard was polite, the management failed to address the complaint. Such behavior overshadowed the otherwise decent experience. I urge the hotel to take strict action to avoid such incidents.

First, no provision available there for mosquito repellent neither they have all out, mortein nor spray. Second, very limited staff, during check out time, no staff will be there to carry and drop luggage in the cab. Third, furniture is very old, toilet seat were broken.

The hotel was pathetic. There were coachroaches in the room. Mosqito will drag you to hell and they don't have allout as well. For every request you tell them 3-4 times. The bathroom is not clean at all. I will strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please look for some other options.

Terrible hotel. Room was in bad condition, bad smell. Bedsheet was horrible. No hot water. No ac. Family should choose a better place
