Colectia Stays Atocha

Excellent location, you don’t need to public transportations to go most of the attractions in Madrid, that is want we did. The trains station is only less than 10 minutes of walking. The service is minimum, and we did not need it al all. You can ask the towers, and we spent most of daytime outside. It is very quiet, the instructions are very clear. We will coming back again.

The stay was quiet due to double windows and super convenient as its close proximity to Atocha station Make sure online check in first to get the building entrances code Or create a Whatapps to connect with the reception so that access outside service time is secured it is convenient when the guests do not have normal phone call plan. The reception lady was nice with goos spoken english. Highly recommended

Amazing location.

小学生の息子と中学生の娘の3人でイタリア、スペイン周遊旅行の途中で利用しました。 ATOCHA駅から徒歩10分、最寄りの観光地まで徒歩圏内、近隣にスーパーやレストランも沢山あり立地は抜群です。 チェックインも事前に登録しておくことで、当日は直接部屋に入れすごく便利です。 難点はたまたまかもしれませんが、入口近くのルームエアコンが1時間くらいで切れてしまい再度電源オンにしなければいけないことくらいです。 1時間くらいで切れるように予約が入っているが解除方法がわからず、寝室側のエアコンは切れずに動いたいたので設定の問題だと思いますがよくわかりませんでした。 総じて部屋は綺麗でバス・トイレもクリーン＆新しく快適なお部屋でした。

性價比一般

Apparently this is a love it or hate it place. Front entrance barely identifiable and the door is SO heavy that entering your code and getting in with a suitcase before it slams itself shut is a real challenge. They are NOT "suites." Just simple rooms in an old building; all hidden behind mysterious old, heavy doors, and yes you need to keycode yourself in four separate places to enter your room. Our room (called a "Double") was a closet with a bathroom, a king sized bed and a desk; with nowhere to put more than one suitcase. We had several as we were carrying sports equipment, also. A three-night stay and no where to hang your three day old towels to dry. No "services" whatsoever; it's like nobody works there. It wasn't till I had paid the deposit that I received notice saying there was no cleaning service or change of towels, "except when you leave and we do final cleaning." The receptionist, along with the coffee bar, is hidden behind yet another mysterious door on the third floor, of all places; open during specific hours only. Hot water pot and tea/instant coffee in the room, and a mini-fridge. All the furnishings look quite new, the bed was comfortable, water was hot, and I guess we were fortunate our room did not overlook Atocha so was pretty quiet--mid-week at least. Yes, the location is great but there are a lot of other hotels within a block that would offer a lot more for your money. You'd probably like UMA if you're traveling solo with a backpack and just got off the train. Fortunately, our disappointment with UMA did not impede our enjoyment of Madrid and surroundings, most within walking distance. We spent the rest of our holiday laughing about our experience in this tiny room!
