City of Dreams - Nüwa Macau

I stayed here to celebrate my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a birthday cake and a simple room decoration upon check-in. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again if I visit Macau in the future. Highly recommended!

Apart from celebrating my father’s 80th birthday, this trip was also an opportunity to mark Mother’s Day. It was our first stay at Nüwa, and the experience has been truly exceptional. . My mother has been full of praise for the staff, who she found incredibly warm, welcoming, and delightful. We are especially grateful to Jerry, Yvonne, Mike, Jackson, and Angela for all their kind assistance and excellent arrangements. . Although my father is a man of few words, I’m quite sure he agrees with my mother — Nüwa will definitely be our hotel of choice in Macau next year!

I stayed at the NUWA hotel in Macau from October 13th to 17th, 2025, and found the front desk service to be excellent, while the breakfast offerings were quite satisfactory. Although construction was ongoing in various areas, which occasionally caused noise, the staff remained remarkably courteous and attentive, consistent with my previous experiences at the property. However, despite visiting during weekdays, complimentary room upgrades were never offered throughout my stays. The hotel's location in the heart of Cotai makes it exceptionally convenient for exploring Macau's attractions. What particularly impressed me was the turndown service—requests were handled promptly and efficiently. Whenever I had dining reservations or sightseeing plans, I could request the service and return to an impeccably prepared room, allowing me to enjoy the rest of my evening undisturbed. This level of responsiveness sets NUWA apart from other hotels, where such services are typically less accommodating. The turndown service has consistently exceeded my expectations. My only reservation concerns the water dispensing system. While I appreciate the property's commitment to environmental sustainability, the current setup proves rather inconvenient in practice, which is disappointing.

So welcoming, efficient, and sweet – she set the tone for our stay perfectly. - Bellboys were always alert, helpful, and ready with a smile whenever we needed assistance. - Housekeeping deserves huge praise! They arranged a shower chair for my elderly mom during turndown service – no fuss, just pure kindness. ❤️ - Gym Attendant Arnold went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Not only was he super friendly, but he personally escorted my mom to the changing room and ensured she felt comfortable. The entire gym crew & safeguard team showed incredible patience and care toward her – it meant the world to us! 🍽️ Room Service & Integrity: We did hit one small snag: we ordered room service and discovered mould in a yogurt. We simply informed the team to prevent other guests from experiencing the same. Their response? IMPRESSIVE. They immediately apologized, checked their entire stock, assured us of food safety protocols, and waived our entire room service bill as a gesture of goodwill. No excuses – just accountability and action! 🎯 Management That Listens: At checkout, **Front Office Manager Man personally apologized for the yogurt incident – a classy touch that showed real ownership. It wasn’t just about fixing a mistake; it was about valuing us as guests. 💯 Final Verdict: Nuwa isn’t just a hotel – it’s a place where **staff treat you like family**. Their attention to detail (especially for elderly guests), proactive service recovery, and consistent warmth made our stay unforgettable. **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** for families, couples, or anyone seeking luxury *with* heart. I would say this is by far the most memorable stay I had in Macao!! From the airport our car drop us off directly in front of lobby (apparently not all hotels do). Entering the hotel we were greeted warmly by attentive hotel staffs. Front desk Kurt is a wonderful guy, very helpful and sincere. We needed connecting rooms for a family who also need wheelchair, and he had the guide of his manager Kimon and got us all settled in very comfortably in our rooms. The stunning hotel interior design and serene atmosphere create a balanced retreat from the busy casino crowd! The hotel are spacious, with luxurious amenities, complimentary minibar (with few exceptions), perfect lighting, thick carpet, and oh sooo soft its Simmons bed, the square bathtub, (housekeeping guy Delphin-Ivan meticulously cleaned the rooms!) and the view overlooking Cotai strip Venetian hotel, every detail made my stay an amazing experience! I would love to come back again (other than its so tempting to try many other new hotels in the city) and definitely recommend this Nuwa hotel! Plus I had tried the gym, full range Precor equipment, spacious and clean, good looking trainer there is also helpful. Only downside is operating hours 08:00-20:00 and the outdoor pool looks average so i did not try. Also its its dining exquisite options of which i tried the 3 star Michelin Jade Dragon and BEST spa (will write more on a separate review!)
