It was our 8th visit to Maldives. After luxury resorts like O&O, St Regis, Ritz & 4 seasons, we decided to try all-inclusive at Baglioni. The price tag that we paid was 2-3 times cheaper than the listed resorts (you pay more for the stay + for drinks & food that are quite expensive), but the quality of service, food, drinks & entertainment was clearly at the same level. I think that the only difference was actually the interiors of the villas, that were simple yet there was everything you need there. The best thing about the resort was food and it’s variety: for lunch there were 2 restaurants & pizza point, for dinner 4 restaurants: a-La carte Italian, Japanese, Grill under the stars & buffet with different themes every night. All included except for tepaniyaki experience. The drinks included international brands (Finlandia vodka, Bombay gin, corona/asahi/peroni beer, French/Italian/Chili/US/Australia wines) The service was very good: thanks to our butler Diana who was super fast at addressing our needs & requests, my yoga teacher Jitu from India (I took private classes every day & it was amazing experience !-highly recommended) & all staff at the restaurants. We had 2 villas during our stay: water Villa with pool & sunset beach Villa with pool. Both were good. Beach Villa was much bigger. I do recommend to take sunset side around villas 101-105 as the other part of the island has much worse beach & sea access. So the hotel experience exceeded our expectations by far. Great value for money
