Majoituspaikan vastaus: Thank you for taking your time to write such a disappointing review.Yes, that room has a small sink, but unfortunately you forgot to mention that the room also has a lovely walk-in shower.We found the description you made of your Ribeye steak very confusing, especially as you had already eaten half of it. On that very same night we asked three individual guests their opinion of their steaks and the response was "tender, succulent and delicious". You were twice offered a replacement steak, which you declined, but you forgot to mention you accepted a free drink.Your room was just up one flight of stairs. Obviously, if guests have mobility problems, they let us know in advance which then enables us to allocate a down stair room. It's a shame you didn't let us know if you had disabilities.Both my wife and I work very hard to ensure our guests enjoy their visit. We tried from the moment you arrived to please you, but it soon became very obvious that this was to no avail.With very best wishes to you both.

Majoituspaikan vastaus: Thank you for your interesting review and we so enjoyed your company during the three days you stayed with us.We are pleased you found our four hundred year old building and surroundings beautiful, but sad to hear you feel there is room for improvement. (1)Never before has any customer required more power sockets, but we take your point on board. Electric points in the bathroom are not encouraged in England. There was a shaving point both in your bathroom and the bedroom itself has got several sockets, also USB points to charge mobile phones etc.(2)As for our highly cleaned rooms needing more attention to cobwebs. The Manor was built in 1683 and in the interim some most discerning spiders have found our accommodation too good to resist. As a result, even though rooms are scrupulously cleaned, overnight they may make appearances in the corners of a room. None of our spiders are dangerous and we will continue to clean them away when we service each room. The cross we have to bare for being so attractive to arachnids.We offer a very well received Full English Breakfast for our guests which many customers enjoy. It is a normal requirement for our guests, but of course we understand customers from abroad prefer maybe “less” which is why we offer fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, etc. etc. Your request was for plain unsweetened yoghurt, but in 9 years of running this guest house we have never had that request! We offer a very wide range of cereals for our guests and sorry, yes some do include sugarVery sorry that you are used to better accommodation in comparable places, but please remember we are not in any way pretending to be a 5 star hotel. We are a friendly guest house, which also reflects in the prices we charge.Thank you again and yes, we enjoyed meeting you and enjoyed your company.Kind regards
