Foxhills Club & Resort

Stayed here in 2022 for the week for the PGA Cup, lovely place! Returned April 25 and the rooms have been renovated and decorated and look beautiful. So comfy! Food is great, swift service and polite staff. One night is not enough, recommend a stay here.

Foxhill is great for families, especially for children 4-11yrs. There is a Kids Club that runs from 09-12 and its great fun and parents can get some solo time. Pavillion has indoor and outdoor swimming pool, games room, adventure playground, football posts. The cafe on site, Flo, is lovely with nice staff, Liliana and the older chap serving (sorry forgot his name) were so attentive, excellent Nutella milkshake! Restaurants XIX wasn't too impressive, busy, struggled with staff, pasta was not tasty, go for burgers! Breakfast was very nice, Florentina made us very welcome. Lovely ambient. Room was very spacious, a bit outdated, no vanity kits (not great when you forget some essential toiletries), beds could be comfier but linen very cosy. Very clean! Health Spa - very nice and again, very clean! Great gym, great pool, showers.... fantastic. Staff friendly. Only thing I noticed is that place comes across as they are lacking a bit of security. We left our keys in the room, so went to get one from Reception and lady there just hand us another key without even checking the surname or anything. It feels like you could come to the parking, walk in, and start using the facilities, as no additional checks to use Pavillion or Health Spa, if you forget the card, they just let you in. Overall, as it's so spacious and great for kids, with Pavillion and Health Club being so nice, we would come back again.

Played the Bernard hunt course on sat 29th of march 2025 And have to say one of the most disappointed golf days I have ever had. The condition of the course was an absolute disgrace and a complete waste of a day out. Do not play give this company a penny of your money. As for the longcross course I can’t comment.

The distance to and from the main building to the accommodation was too distant and required ferrying by golf buggy in inclement weather. the room did not have a telephone and when trying to contact reception the system via the eyepad did not work. As non UK residents this meant using expensive mobile roaming data. The breakfast had been kept hot under heat lamps and was dry and poached eggs were more like hard boiled. The mastic around the wash hand basin was very poor, the lamp in the bedside light flickered and there was cigarette burn in furniture. one evening our door key did not work and we had to make another expensive mobile phone call to reception and wait 15 mins outside until someone arrived with another key. All in all we expected a better standard.

A wonderful place to stay even if you don't play golf. We enjoyed the Health Spa, both indoor and outdoor pools and played our first game of Padel in the outdoor courts. We chose the cheapest room option but it was still spacious and comfortable and had a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Lots of choice at breakfast and promptly served. The staff were all delightful, so helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights to attend my daughter's wedding and the whole experience was amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhills as a wedding venue. We had an unforgettable day, everything ran smoothly and all staff were so welcoming and professional. And of course some wonderful photographs as this is such a beautiful setting. Thank you Foxhills.

Had an amazing stay at Foxhills again, the bedroom was just the best, very large, beautifully decorated even had a walk in wardrobe. Enjoyed tennis, Pilates and chilling in the spa. Fabulous evening meal in bar 19 and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks to all the staff who were very helpful and friendly thank you to Ursula, Renato and Evo. Will definetly be back
