All of the fittings are modern and of high quality. The breakfast was really good and tasty. It will keep any well built man satisfied until mid-afternoon. The free parking was an added bonus. You do not need to stay anywhere else when in Lymington"

"Set outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening! Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the "spa" building was self service and chaotic. Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility."

"The location was fantastic very central. Host Tobias was welcoming and helpful if you needed any help or advice. The room was clean and comfortable, an added bonus was the large sitting room, spacious, airy with fantastic views for all to use. We had a three day stay, the b n b is close to be able to walk into town for the shops and many restaurants/ pubs that are there. The train station and bus station are literally on the doorstep, ( however it wasn't noisy). We had our car as we wanted to get out and about and parking was available, which is a huge plus. Tobias provided a good spread at breakfast, everything you need to set you up for the day, he did a cooked breakfast to order which was delicious. All in all we would most definitely go back again, it was just what we needed, some rest and relaxation, comfortable surroundings, and plenty of places to visit during the day and a varied choice of restaurants/pubs to eat and drink."
