We absolutely loved this pub we stayed here for 1 night. The room was lovely really clean & spacious and the bed wad super comfy. Staff were friendly & the breakfast in the morning was great. The pub itself is nicely done up & we enjoyed chilling here with a beer. Would highly recommend.

Really impressed.
Excellent place to stay. Refurbished rooms, very comfortable and well done. Food excellent and most importantly the staff couldn't do more to help. They were outstanding. One word of warning-if you park in the car park, expect the local birdlife to leave you numerous mementoes of your visit.

Probably not the most in-depth review The Bosuns Chair has ever received. However, I thought I would have a day out in Lymington. Came in the summer by train, very pleasant. It's a long, long journey from Creekmoor by bus when rail maintenance is being carried out. Add in its winter, so it's cold, and after a while I was feeling my over 80 years. A warming drink was needed. Came across this pub/hotel by chance. The bar area was immaculate. The staff were friendly, and the latte was a life saver. I have read some of the reviews, all good. So in the greater scheme of things, this review doesn't cover a lot. But get the basics right and your most of the way there. My thanks ladies.

Great room - fantastic breakfast!
We had a great one night stay at the Bosun's Chair. Welcomed warmly on arrival and the room was really beautifully decorated and comfy and cozy at the same time. Nice size bathroom and lovely welcome touches of biscuits and water. And I would go there just for breakfast - the breakfast was top notch. Good options and wonderfully cooked. Would definitely stay again

Great stay
Really lovely newly refurbished room. Great comfy bed and huge bathroom. All the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly and the breakfast was probably one of the nicest we've had. Will definitely return.

Couple's Friday night stay
Excellent stay at The Bosuns Chair. Recently refubished room was lovely & spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, including a plentiful supply of good quality towels, more than ample tea & coffee making facilities, full length mirror, nice smelling toiletries, plus lots of extra thoughtfil touches, in case you needed them (nail kit, shaving kit, additional toiletry items etc).
Any street noise from cars had died down by mid-evening and it was very very quiet overnight and in the morning. Although there is a pub downstairs, again there was no problem with noise. Breakfast was excellent! Good choice, speedy service, tasty and well presented. Staff were nice and friendly. Parking was limited and a bit tight, but not a major problem. Excellent central location for Lymington train station, local restaurants and shops. We would 100% recommend The Bosuns Chair and stay there again.

10/10 for this property. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy parking. Breakfast was amazing. The property has been recently refurbished, so the room , pub/facilities are superb. Would happily stay here again and recommend.

Staff were lovely (all of them) room was very comfortable and clean … lovely fluffy large towels and the food and breakfast was fab … loved the Halloween decorations
