We had a lovely weekend at the Lewesdon at the beginning of September. Julia and David work very hard to make everything perfect. The property is spotless and the decor is of the highest standard. We stayed in the “Cobb” room. There was plenty of space with a couple of chairs to relax in. Julia’s cakes are wonderful and we thoroughly recommend the breakfast. Local produce and Julia’s homemade sourdough and preserves and more.

Excellent hosts, spotless, beautiful accommodation and superb luxury add ons, the attention to details is wonderful. Bed extremely comfortable and great bathroom. Food excellent, exceptional breakfast and complimentary freshly baked cakes- superb! We have so enjoyed our stay at Lewesdon, very grateful thanks to David & Julia

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at this fabulous bed and breakfast accommodation. We would just like to reiterate everything that has all ready been said about this accommodation and hosts. We have stayed in many bed and breakfast properties all over the UK and thought the were very good, but not until we stayed at The Lewesdon could we say our stay was amazing. Julia and David are some of the nicest people/hosts you will ever meet. The accommodation beautiful and spotless, the breakfast and daily cake treats freshly made by Julia was/were very very tasty. If you are thinking about visiting Lyme Regis, which is definitely worth visiting, you must stay at The Lewesdon, you certainly will not be disappointed, and like us when you leave, will be singing the praises of Julia, David and The Lewesdon.

My wife and I have just spent 4 days here and chose it based on the sheer volume of fabulous reviews. We were not disappointed and without reiterating these copious rave reviews we can only echo them. Wonderful hosts with immaculate accommodation and delicious food. Stayed here 16 July for one week we were made extremely welcome by David and Julia. We stayed in a wonderful room called cobb extremely clean and comfortable.Julia made cake every day for when we returned in afternoon the lemon drizzle was wonderful . Thanks for a great week. Derrick/Lesley Plummer

Enjoyed a great two week holiday at the Lewesdon. David and Julia really make you feel relaxed and welcomed from the start. The breakfasts are quality and really set you up for the day. The home made breakfast treat, jams and cakes are just fantastic (missing them already). Everything is spotlessly clean and tidy and we could not of asked for a better place to stay for our holiday. 10/10

Beautiful guesthouse in Lyme. We arrived and greeted by David. A warm welcome with refreshments which was very much needed, thank you. Beautiful room, clean, in fact spotless, and comfortable. Thanks to Julia for her fabulous baking treats and breakfast. Superb. We wish we stayed longer!

The hosts Julia and David couldn’t do enough for us. They provided a welcome drink in the room which was so nice I bought a bottle in a local shop! Julia baked a cake everyday and left them out on the dining room table for guests to share. The lemon drizzle was the best We’d ever tasted. For these things alone I would give the place 5 stars! The room was a huge corner room with light flooding in through the shutters. It’s tasteful decorated and bed was extremely comfy. The toiletries are Elemis so you know this place is of a luxury standard. The breakfast menus is vast with a fruit and home made granola to start. I honestly can not find 1 bad bad to say about this place or the hosts. Every minute of our stay was beyond perfect.
