The creek is stocked with Trout and the surrounding areas consist of over 2,500 acres of State game land -perfect for hunting and fishing in season. Hike the nearby Loyalsock State Forest, or bring four wheelers and ride along the nearby trails. This was exactly what our family needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The creek is a short walk from the house and perfect to just have some fun, fish, and let your kids/fur babies swim around. Having fires at night and listening to the wilderness around you. The house was absolutely perfect. It was very clean, and had everything we needed plus some. The attention to detail the host has is absolutely perfect. The game room downstairs was just what we needed to keep us off our device's and have some fun together as a family! Our teenager actually left her phone in her room most of the time!! We just left and we are already planning our next trip for next summer. Everything was simple, from check in to check out. Host is VERY responsive if you have any questions. Perfect perfect PERFECT!!!

Nice spot on the creek
The house was comfortable. The owner was helpful and responsive. The creek was a nice spot but just be aware that you do have to walk a short distance down a path to get there. The road noise kept me up a bit but overall it was a nice private place that I would recommend.

Great Family Getaway
The house had everything we needed and more. It is located near Reptiland, the Hiawatha Riverboat, Pine Creek Gorge, and other family friendly attractions. There were plenty of places to eat out. The ice cream shop around the corner was a favorite stop. The kids loved the arcade but the real treasure was the scenic creek just steps away. It was the perfect location for kayaking and fishing with newbies.

A nice getaway
The property was as described in the details. The extras provided (kayaks, tubes, wood for the fire pit) were a really nice touch, and the kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you could need. As mentioned by other reviewers, the noise from the road was more than expected, but was not bothersome when sleeping. Our dogs had a blast in playing in the creek and the well kept yard, and I appreciated the deck space for reading or sitting in the sun.I believe the addition of a picnic table would be a great idea for days when dining outside is possible as there is adequate space available. The hosts were very communicative and friendly to work with. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future! Thanks for having us!

Week in May
The property was even better than the listing. Lycoming creek is right in the back yard and we had a great time fishing, relaxing by the fire pit and playing cards in the evening. Had the mandatory dinner at the turkey ranch and spent most of our time on the local creeks. Some highway noise during the day, but quiets right down in the evening. Loved the place and will return. Highly recommend. Very family and pet friendly. Also only a 20 minute drive to major stores

Outdoor Get away
This home is nestled between the Lycoming Creek and the well traveled PA-14. It is very clean, homey, has a well stock kitchen, a large bathroom and comfy beds. It offers a beautiful view of the Lycoming creek off the back deck. For indoor fun there is a game room, boards games and great internet service. For outdoor fun there are kayaks with life vests and helmets, innertubes, a fire pit that are provided by the owner. There is also easy access for fishing, endless trails for hiking and rail trails for biking. It is close enough to Williamsport if you want to catch a baseball game, enjoy one of the many breweries/restaurants or explore historic Williamsport and museums. We had a wonderful time staying here. We wish we could give it five stars but the road noise did detract from our stay. It wasn't a game changer for us but would recommend ear plugs for someone who is a light sleeper.
