hotel service is perfect. The view is phenomenal for Lakeview penthouse rooms. There are restaurant and bar by the lake, but a room service to the room and have dinner at balcony is even better. Ordering room service can be done via tablet, very convenient. But remember there are service charges for room service. Sadly is the room we checked-in was without a bathtub. Will consider to get the outdoor bathtub room next time.

A great hotel situated just at the hill, with a great view of the lake. Can be a tad expensive, but the hotel is high tech and the rooms are comfortable, warm and feels like home. Love the duck in the bathroom too!

We absolutely loved our Penthouse Junior Suite Lakeside with a balcony. The room was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of room for both of us to spread out and relax. The layout included a comfortable sitting area, a large bed with premium linens, and floor-to-ceiling windows that filled the space with natural light. The balcony was a true standout—it offered breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, creating the perfect setting for morning coffee or evening drinks. The decor was elegant and modern, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the suite. It felt luxurious yet welcoming. Housekeeping was outstanding—thorough, consistent, and respectful of our space. We always returned to a spotless room, and their attention to detail truly enhanced the overall experience. We chose to use the breakfast buffet twice during our stay when faced with a tight morning schedule. We felt it was a bit overpriced and would have preferred ordering à la carte for breakfast rather than paying a relatively high price for the buffet. I also really enjoyed spending time at Louis Bar during our stay—it was a highlight. According to the hotel’s website, our room category included complimentary access to a nearby gym. However, obtaining the daily gym vouchers became a bit of a challenge. Despite the website listing it as an included perk, the front desk repeatedly told us it was no longer available. My husband had to raise the issue multiple days with various representatives, which was frustrating. Despite that minor inconvenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily consider this hotel again for any future visits to Lucerne.
