Luz Bay Hotel

Upea hotelli, suuret huoneet ja ihana piha. Vierailemme ehdottomasti uudelleen. Kuten muut arvostelut ovat maininneet, huoneet ovat hieman väsyneitä ja osa henkilökunnasta on välinpitämätöntä. Huoneet olivat kuitenkin puhtaita ja siivottiin uudelleen joka päivä. Tontti oli hyvin hoidettu ja kaunis. Loistava sijainti kävelylle Luziin. Valtava buffetaamiainen. Todella hyvää vastinetta rahalle. Hotellissa on parkkipaikka (eräänlainen), mutta se on 10 € per päivä! , joten pysäköimme kadulle, ehkä sesonkiaikana sitä tarvitaan, mutta ei todellakaan tarvittu kun olimme siellä

Currently at Luz Bay Hotel, I read the negative reviews and was dreading my holiday. Pleasantly surprised, staff in reception all day long and always willing to help. As for the divers in the pool, I've been here for 6 days and haven't seen a single one. There are plenty of sunbeds and two adult and a child's pool. The grounds are well maintained and very pretty. It is a short walk to the beach and the bus stop to Lagos is only a two minute walk. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk the coastal path, be prepared for a bit of a climb to start. Yes the hotel isn't 4 star but they are not charging 4 star prices. All in all we have had a super holiday and would return.

Almost cancelled this holiday due to the reviews but so glad we didn’t. Great hotel in great location, the grounds and pools were immaculate, the rooms although a bit dated were cleaned, fresh towels and bedding replaced daily. There was a great choice of breakfast to cater to all tastes, the staff very helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough to help. The only downside was the closed pool bar, however as we had the pool area practically to ourselves most days can see why that would not be viable. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Een verschrikkelijke hotel! Geen entertainment, vieze kamers, ons kamer 115 zaten vol haren schimmel bij aankomst. Elke dag geklaagd want de schoonmakers maakten het ook niet goed schoon. Verschrikkelijke bedden met losse veren, kortom ik raad dit echt NIEMAND aan. Het is echt een walgelijke hotel!!!

This is not a 4 star hotel. There is no staff around. My room has not been cleaned for more than 2 days, even after reminding the reception. For the reception you can only reach them personally as the phone in the room is not working. The hotel itself is old and very basic. There is nothing to do here other than sleeping. No bar or restaurant available. You can buy soda from the fridge at the reception.

Arrived latish at night. Was shown where our room was, along a very dark path so trying to negotiate 2 suitcases was difficult. Room was spacious and clean but we had no chairs on our balcony and did not get these for over 24 hours albeit asking reception a few times. Breakfast, we thought, was good. Plenty choice and clean breakfast bar and lovely staff in there. No pool bar, no evening meals that were advertised had you wanted them. A stroll to the beachfront for food was sometimes inconvenient if you were having a chill day by the pool. Sunbeds tired and as stated previously scuba divers just decided to take over the pool when they felt like it. All in all we enjoyed our holiday at this hotel but would certainly not recommend or rush back
