Protea Hotel Lusaka Cairo Road

Huoneen ilmastointilaite oli uskomattoman meluisa, kuin traktori; ympäristö oli niin ja näin, mutta henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Myös ruoka oli hyväksyttävää.

The location is great , can walk few minutes to the bussiness area . The food was decent, tried dinner there they served lamb

I had an okay stay at Protea Hotel Lusaka. The hotel is conveniently located and provides the basics you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are friendly. Overall, I would describe it as a simple, no-frills hotel rather than a luxury property. It’s a practical option if you’re looking for somewhere convenient and comfortable to stay in Lusaka.

I had a pleasant stay at Protea Hotel. Although the hotel is relatively small and doesn’t have many special facilities, it stands out for its excellent cleanliness and hygiene. The rooms are well maintained, the staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable. The only area that needs improvement is the breakfast. The menu is almost the same every day, which becomes repetitive for guests staying multiple nights. It would be great to have more variety, such as pasta, noodles, and additional international breakfast options. Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable, and reliable hotel. With a better and more varied breakfast selection, it would be an excellent place to stay.

What an enjoyable stay. Was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. Room had great view over city. enjoyed the city lights from the room.

Very good hotel in very good location. I recommend it 100%. Breakfast very good and the room very nice

The place is really an amazing place. well caring staff members with a welcoming smile.l really felt at home beyond the boarders. The food was really amazing, especially in the morning. The environment is really accessible to a mall, which is a walkable distance.Protea team welldone #Protea hotel Cairo road.

The service at this hotel is amazing, everyone made me feel very welcome every day. The breakfast was very good, and as someone who stayed here for 2 weeks there was enough variety each day that I didn’t get very bored by the end. Housekeeping was great and provided ample amenities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The only downside of this hotel is its location in the CBD, which is not a safe area and experiences heavy traffic almost every day, especially during rush hour. However, the hotel itself is very safe, in the sense that I was not worried that any harm would come to me once I was inside the building. Additionally, there were often glitches with the WiFi, but unfortunately that is the case in most places in Zambia and the connectivity was usually stable enough to do video calls.

Staff go out of their way to help Enjoyed our stay here This old hotel is kept clean Enjoyed the Buffet breakfast The staff is very attentive. Just ask and all will be sorted superfast. They would ask whether our needs were being met during our stay. Its location on Cairo Road makes it easy to visit some of Lusakas iconic sites i.e. the National Museun, Culural Village, and various markets. Area around hotel felt safe. My thanks to all the staff esp. Reception Luckson and Charity and Mercy in dining area
