The OQ

This has to be the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at! The OQ is one of a kind and we have stayed at many hotels around the world, primarily 4 and.5 star properties. Our arrival transfer met us promptly at the airport. The hotel is about 25 minutes drive from the airport and roughly 15/20 minutes from Doha city itself. We checked into the OQ and were met by friendly hotel staff who gave us information regarding restaurants, the pool and breakfast times. We stayed in a city view 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 x separate bathrooms and a powder room, as well as a laundry! The apartment was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the washing machine worked perfectly! Beds and pillows were super comfortable and we had a fantastic sleep for the 6 nights we stayed here. We were also able to dry our clothes thanks to never ending heat outside. Our only recommendation to the hotel would be to provide some sort of clothes airer to hang clothes on once washed out on the balcony. We had booked a Desert Safari one afternoon and when the driver was very late, the hotel were more than happy to assist in calling them on our behalf. Breakfast - words cannot adequately describe how fantastic breakfast was!!! When we attended every morning, the breakfast staff promptly attended to us and allowed us to sit where we pleased. Breakfast was chosen from a menu where you chose as much as you wanted, and it was made fresh for you. Every item on the menu was absolutely delicious. We also ate lunch at the restaurant where breakfast was served, and lunch was also absolutely amazing! We can not speak highly enough of the staff at breakfast and lunch - they are to be commended for the work they do. Pool - the pool was lovely, spacious and the perfect temperature. Again, the staff regularly bring around fresh juices and fruit kebabs. These gestures were a unique and lovely touch once again to our stay. There are toilets and private showers nearby the pool area which again was very convenient. Location - Whilst the hotel is locate in Lusail, the area is quiet and somewhat undiscovered at the moment, however still very close to Doha city, along with Place Vendome shopping centre (approx. 10 minute drive away, also in Lusail), Galleries La Fayette in Katara, the Pearl and Soul Waqif. Whilst you cannot walk to any of these places (it is too hot to walk anywhere, anyway!) you will only spend between 10 and 15 minutes in a taxi/Uber to get there. All in all, the OQ is definitely the best property we have stayed in. The space and comfort of an apartment with the luxuries of a hotel and convenient location!

What an amazing vibes at the OQ Hotel.. This is my 4th time and im enjoying every time. Big thanks refers to Ryhab the one that she took care about me and my friends ❤️ she’s always making her best to make our day better and unforgettable.. Till next time next friday I’ll be back sure to make more memories

Excellent location, great comfort from the morning, over the pool time to dinner with Best, Mariem and Anjalika. Super relaxing, easy city access and swimming in the sea. Large rooms, brand new and clean. Washing machine was a plus and reduced luggage a lot.

Nourddin from the pool was amazing. There was an incident with my drinks and he rectified the problem very professionally. He is very guest oriented and friendly. The day at the pool was great afterwards. The vibe is nice and the pool area is very clean

Es war soooo toll hier! Wir haben die Osterferien im OQ verbracht, und es war einfach fantastisch.Man wird einfach komplett verwöhnt. Wir hatten ein großes Appartement mit Küche und großem Balkon im oberen Stockwerk mit Stadtblick.Es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte, sogar eine Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen, die Betten sind super und es war ruhig. Wir hatten Halbpension und haben es rundum genossen, eigentlich braucht man da zusätzlich gar nichts mehr zum Essen😍Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant Kaia a la Carte serviert, und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Man kann auch auf der Terrasse draußen frühstücken. Es gibt Pancakes, Waffeln, French Toast, Eierspeisen, Porridge, Müsli, Cornflakes, Obstsalat, Chia Pudding, Brotkörbe und noch alles mögliche andere.Die Kellner sind total nett und entspannt und bemühen sich sehr, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Besonders Anjalika hat sich toll um uns gekümmert, Dankeschön dafür! Das Abendessen wird im gleichen Restaurant serviert. Es gibt eine große Karte, und wir durften uns zum Essen und Trinken bestellen, was wir wollten. Ceasarsalat, Salat aus Mango, Avocado und Shrimps, Linsensuppe, kalte arabische Vorspeisen, Lammkoteletts, Wolfsbarsch, Pizza, Fettuccine, Burger mit Pommes frites, Trüffelrisotto, Biryani Reis haben wir probiert und es war alles super lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Auch die Desserts und die Mocktails waren spitze.Im Restaurant wurden wir besonders von Loubna und Ryhab wunderbar verwöhnt, ein großer Dank nochmals💞. An das ganze Team, vielen, vielen Dank, ihr habt unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht 🥰😍!! Wir kommen wieder🤗
