Mariner King Inn

We truly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We arrived after the office closed, but were greeted with a welcome letter and clear guidelines about how to access our room. Effort has been made to preserve the historical integrity of the inn while integrating the comforts of modern life. The location was convenient for attending our concert at The Lunenburg Opera House. The room was comfortable and clean. The inn managed to provide a delicious breakfast in a COVID safe manner. The dining area is bright and spacious. We will certainly plan to return.

This is a charming Inn. We didn't realize that there is a main Inn and then several additional adjacent buildings that are also part of the Inn. Upon checking in we were given the room key, but were not told what building the room was in. We ended up wandering down the road checking each building to find our room. The room numbers do not give you any indication of the building. Be sure to ask if you are in main Inn or one of the ancillary buildings (and if so which one). Also be aware stairs are fairly steep and there is no one to help with luggage. My room was very nice and bed was comfortable but the shower stall was tiny, so tiny it was difficult to wash my hair. Breakfast buffet was very good with smoked salmon, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals each morning. Excellent location - an easy walk to the village and picturesque harbor.

Wij verbleven hier één nacht en sliepen in het bijgebouw waarin zich drie kamers bevinden. Leuke, knusse kamer aan de hoofdweg. Prima bed en in de badkamer zijn toiletartikelen aanwezig. Het ontbijt was compleet met yoghurt, muesli, broodjes, zoet en hartig beleg, koffie en thee. Zeer vriendelijke hostess.
