The rooms are super clean, attentively decorated, and very comfortable. The hot-spring bath is authentic and amazing. We don't speak Chinese and the staff very little English but they go out of their way to translate everything for you. The hotel is a bit out of Moxi town but you really don't need to go there. The on-site Yak Hot Pot is truly great and just what you need after a day hiking. Go here! It's so worth the trip."

I've stayed at quite a few, and this time, the experience at Yue Mu Shan was still very good. Facilities & Space: The room was spacious, and the hot spring pool and balcony area were also large, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Plus, the weather in Moxi is still quite cool in the mornings and evenings, ideal for soaking in the hot springs without feeling too hot. Service & Food: You can have all your meals at the hotel, enough to stay a whole day. The variety of food is also plentiful. The roasted chicken hot pot was decent overall. The service was acceptable, but compared to other hotels of the same type, it could be improved. Environment: The public areas have a unique design, and the outdoor hot spring pool was quite clean. The rooftop infinity pool and executive lounge are very atmospheric; on a clear day, the view of the snow-capped mountains is breathtaking."

"Nestled at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, we found a serene little town. Perhaps it was the off-season, as many shops along the street were closed and there were very few people around, which actually made for a wonderfully pleasant walk. The main road led straight to the snow-capped peaks, and with a glance up, the sight of the perpetually white snow came into view – for us city dwellers, this kind of scenery is incredibly stress-relieving and truly therapeutic. Staying at Seven Valleys Inn, the only thing that could willingly get us up early was the 'sun-kissed golden mountains' phenomenon. When the first rays of dawn gilded the snow-capped peaks, the beauty was simply breathtaking. The guesthouse owner was very chatty, and breakfast was prepared with care. The housekeeper was a shy young man, but his enthusiasm showed through his actions – he specifically prepared foot-soaking water for guests in the evening. Soaking our feet under the snow-capped mountains and gazing at the starry sky, time just slowed down, making us so comfortable we didn't want to leave."

Moxi Ancient Town hasn't got much going on at the moment, but I think if you come back in a few years, it could be more bustling."

"Our stay at Meiyan Long March Hotel was the highlight of our Hailuogou trip! The location is fantastic – it's peacefully tucked away yet super close to both the Old Street and the Visitor Center. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the Long March cultural theme is truly unique. Our room was smart, spotless, and had amazing panoramic views; we could even see the snow-capped mountains right from our window. The hot spring water was excellent, with multiple pools to choose from, leaving us feeling completely relaxed. The service was attentive and thoughtful from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend!"

"Five stars is a must! This guesthouse was absolutely healing during my relaxing trip to Hailuogou! My favorite part was the private natural sulfur hot spring in the room. Soaking in the warm spring at night, listening to the water, and looking at the greenery outside the window, all the fatigue from the journey instantly disappeared. The guesthouse's environment was just perfect! The log cabin-style rooms were gentle and soothing, with large floor-to-ceiling windows framing the lush greenery of the mountains. During the day, I would bask in the sun while enjoying afternoon tea, the aroma of freshly ground coffee mingling with the sweetness of desserts—one bite and I was overwhelmed with happiness. The afternoon tea presentation was exquisite and thoughtful, with fresh fruit and soft cakes; every bite showed the care put into it. Transportation was also no problem at all, with convenient parking for those driving. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive throughout, answering all our questions and recommending delicious food and sightseeing routes. The experience was simply amazing. I felt so comfortable and relaxed here; it was truly wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!"
