Very beautiful hotel with a wonderful swimming pool where u can enjoy the sunbathe very well as well. Definitely will recommend to people who have a car, and would like to visit Pisa! :)

Eigenlijk alles prima en echt rustig en lekker ontbijt en 24 uurs bezetting receptie. Er is een hoofdgebouw en een depandance weliswaar vlak bij elkaar maar erg veel trappen, dus voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn is dit hotel niet geschikt.De kamers hebben een eigen airco die werkt en zeer eenvoudig te bedienen is , prima.

酒店不大 但很乾凈整潔 住這裏很舒服 室外泳池很棒 孩子們玩耍嬉戲的好地方 空氣清新親近自然 總之很推薦這裏。 ！

What a wonderful hotel guesthouse. We wished we had booked more nights. We only stayed one night, but it’s left a lasting impression on us, and I’m already looking to book for next year. We stayed in room 101, which is just off the reception area. It’s a lovely quiet hotel, and on the day we arrived (Sunday) we had the whole pool area to ourselves for a good hour or so. We stayed as two adults and our 8yr old boy, and he loved it as well. The pool is a little cold, but once you are in you soon warm up. The sun beds around the pool are very comfortable, so much so I fell asleep and woke myself up snoring ha, the hotel provides towels to use around the pool. You can order drinks to be served around the pool loungers, and they are reasonably priced for a hotel. They have a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner (we only sampled breakfast, which was included in our room rate). The restaurant is closed Sunday night. The staff are so friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend a stay here. We travelled from Pisa airport, which took around 45mins off memory. We then drove into Pisa to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa and to sample local cuisine. The dining choices were endless. I’m gluten free myself and had lots of options to pick from, including pizza and pasta. The hotel is set in a pretty location as well. They have bikes you can use free of charge to visit the location area. A big 10/10 from us.

This place is a little gem. 10 minutes drive from Lucca and a wonderful base to see the sites around Tuscany. We stayed here for a week and got home yesterday. The staff are amazing a shout out to all the staff in the restaurant at breakfast and evening who we have chats and lots of laughter with they really are a credit to this place. The reception staff were all amazing also nothing was to much trouble always had a smile on their face. The room was lovely and big, beautiful bathroom and amazing windows with shutters. We booked this through Easyjet and the location showed as within the walls of Lucca which is where we wanted to be. Once booked we realised the mistake and that it says a 15 min car ride from the centre of Lucca, but decided to keep the booking when we had a proper look at hotel, which was am old hunting lodge. On arrival we were so pleased that Easyjet had messed up with the location as we found our "peace of Tuscan heaven". What a stunning hotel in a peaceful, stunning location. Traditional Tuscan building, furnished with beautiful pieces. We travelled with two other couples and all of our rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff were amazing and were always helpful, pleasant and informative. The restaurant is amazing and worth a try. At the end of a busy day exploring, the bar area and outside terrace was a lovely place to relax and have a drink or two. John Lucca (apologies if name spelled wrong) is a charismatic member of staff who we loved and he looked after us, as did Sarah. The pool area and grounds are stunning and there is a converted chapel that is a suite which I would love to stay in. If I ever get married, I would not hesitate to book this hotel as there is nothing that I can find fault with. Truly perfect in every way and we will definitely be coming back next year. Albergo Villa Marta is a slice of pure heaven. From the glorious gardens, to the inviting pool and from the delightfully comfortable bedrooms to the charming and friendly staff, my girlfriend and I felt we had found the perfect getaway. We had planned day trips before we arrived, but in the end discovered that no day trip could quite match up to the delights on offer in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Lucca, just 20 mins by car or 40 mins by bike is one of the prettier Tuscan cities I have visited. Small enough to explore fully on foot, but with enough variety in terms of eateries and stylish boutique shops that you can spend more than a couple of days there without repeating yourself. Within walking or cycling distance of the hotel are three of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Italy. Namely: la cecca (2mins walk), Cucina Scompaglioni with views across vineyards towards mountains - an image that is hard to capture on camera or to describe, and trattoria Bellota - the perfect spot for a simple Tuscan homecooked lunch after a leisurely bike ride through the pretty lanes with the best bit being their jugs of homemade sparkling wine and fair prices that seem to be from a bygone era. A week at Villa Marta will certainly be one of the more relaxing weeks you’ll have ever had and an experience I can’t wait to repeat.

As a tour operator owner, Villa Marta did not disappoint in anyway. From the impeccable service, staff and food we thoroughly enjoyed our three day relaxation before touring Tuscany. Centrally located, easily, reaching Luca, Montecatini, Florence, Cinque, Terre, it’s a rest bite from a full day of touring or a lovely long weekend.
