"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express with my parents. I am familiar with the IHG brand as I also work for the company, so I know what to expect from the brand standards. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and new, so I initially had high expectations. Unfortunately, the stay was let down by poor communication and a lack of staff training. During a fire alarm, the phone in my parents’ room didn’t work - which is a serious health and safety issue. I reported this immediately. There were also several issues with billing and communication: • I confirmed my staff discount for all food and beverage items before dining, yet when paying after dinner, I was told the discount was “not applicable.” • When I asked for a copy of my bill, I was told I would receive it upon checkout - I still haven’t received it, even a month later. • I was also charged for parking twice - I paid upon check-in, but was told again at checkout that it hadn’t been paid. Despite emailing both reception and the General Manager for clarification, no one has responded, which is incredibly disappointing. On the positive side, the breakfast was great with a good selection, and the staff were polite and friendly, but clearly not properly trained to handle basic guest service and billing procedures. This experience does not reflect true hospitality, and it’s not what I would expect from an IHG property. The hotel has so much potential, but staff training and communication need urgent attention."

"Tämä hotelli sijaitsee noin 10-15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä vanhasta kaupungista. Mutta se on mukava ja hyvin elävä kävely. Hotelli on toissijaisella kadulla, korttelin päässä pääkadulta, ja ensimmäisenä yönä oli pimeä ja me olimme epämukavaa, Mutta Puola on yleensä hyvin turvallinen, me näimme paljon ihmisiä kävelevät ympäri. Hotelli henkilöstö oli apua. Aamiainen ruoka oli antelias. Huonekoko oli hyvä ja sänky oli mukava. Kylpyhuone oli mukava koko ja suihku oli hyvä voimakkuus. Oli suodatettu vesikone joka kerroksessa, joka on suuri plus. Tapetit olivat kuitenkin hieman kantaneet ja värjätyt. "

"Because I was not satisfied with the hygienic condition of the B&B I booked at first, I temporarily booked the most expensive hotel in this small city at the time. The hotel lobby is relatively dark, and you don't know where the door is without looking carefully. Except for a check-in staff member at the front desk, the entire lobby is empty. After checking in, I found that the room did not have air conditioning. After further investigation, I learned that the hotel has central air conditioning and guests cannot adjust it by themselves. Moreover, due to aging equipment, the air conditioner only blows out air but does not cool the room. The weather was really hot in mid-August, but fortunately, the room service staff kindly sent a powerful blower, which did alleviate the embarrassing situation a little bit."

"A charming historic building located right next to the Castle. The interiors have been renovated and there's an elevator. The location is perfect. The service is professional, and the room is very clean and spacious for a single person. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is also large and clean. On the downside, the air conditioning was a bit noisy, and a small refrigerator in the room would have been useful, but for the price, it's simply fantastic."
