"Very helpful staff. Hotel well placed for town and beach. Spa facilities and treatments of a good standard. Salt water pool an added bonus. Food and drink reasonably priced for quality. Communal spaces modern. Bedrooms were a little tired and would benefit from deep cleans and redecoration. Local area quiet but pleasant. Some interesting shops, cafes and bars. Beach and history of Normandy Landings is the main feature of the town."

Breakfast is a typical Western food, the restaurant faces the sea, so the environment is elegant. In addition, the hotel provides free bottled water (they provide bottles for you to continue unlimited)."

"Superb anniversary night away. Our room was upgraded & we were delighted! The quality of service & staff greatly improved under the new ownership. Will definitely stay again, its local to us! Two tips for them, as I say to all hotels! British & Dutch visitors like proper tea! It's easy to buy either PG Tips or Yorkshire Gold Tea in France. We never drink "English" breakfast tea!! It should be served with boiling water, cold milk & white sugar, if required!!! We had to ask for the breakfast menu. Apart from that, wonderful!!"

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel while on one of Lil's small group adventure tours. We arrived in Pont-L'Eveque, France at the hotel on June 11 and departed on June 19, 2024. Food and lodging was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional and serve by a staff that were engaging and helpful. The rooms were serviced daily. Note that some rooms were two story. We would recommend this hotel and the town of Pont-L'Eveque as a place to stay and visit."

"PMB, I had booked and paid a deposit at this establishment for a dinner and an overnight stay. Three days before, in Granville, my electric wheelchair broke down completely, forcing me to cancel this stay and return home to Loire Atlantique to have it repaired. When I canceled by phone with the hotel, they informed me that my deposit would not be refunded because the request should have been made at least five days before the scheduled reservation date. Bravo, and thank you to this hotel for refusing to consider this case as "force majeure." The other establishments booked for this week-long trip all agreed to refund me!"

"The hygiene and facilities are so-so, so I didn't take pictures of the room. The price is not expensive in Europe, but it is not low in this small city. The service awareness of the front desk staff is very poor, far inferior to that of the catering staff. If you come to Caen, I recommend everyone to eat Caen tripe and Normandy ice cream. It's very good."
