my family and I had unfortunately missed our original train to Lourdes, which led to me having to book the next available night train (meaning we’d reach a day late). in my panic, I reached out to the Hotel Sainte Rose staff via email to explain our situation and to ensure them that we’d be checking in the following day instead. special shout out to Valérie at the concierge, who was also our email correspondent - we were very warmly reassured it was no problem. upon arrival, Valerie displayed exceptional hospitality and took very good care of us (which meant alot after an arduous 24 hours). our stay at Hotel Sainte Rose was consistently good - food, location, cleanliness. the warmth displayed by the staff has definitely left a positive impression and we’ll definitely return if we ever journey back to Lourdes.
