Bambuda Castle

This stay was a gift for my brother’s wedding, they enjoyed the peace and sights this hotel has to offer. Everything was clean and the staff was really friendly. This hotel has a very nice magical feeling with hobbit like rooms that make you feel inside a fairytale.

Under Construction I booked it prior to knowing the facility was under construction; I selected the non-refundable option so we were stuck. Wish I would have known before. When it is a complete I am sure it will be beautiful.

Shortly before our stay here we received an email informing us about the construction work, saying that it was mainly the pool and hot tub area that couldn’t be used. In fact it turned out that apart from the bar and restaurant nothing was available at all (no kitchenette, no pool, no climbing wall, etc). When we arrived we could barely hear our own word during check in because of heavy machines everywhere. After a lot of discussion and when we had decided to cancel our stay, we were given rooms further away from all the noise and wanted to give it a try. We do understand that construction work is annoying for everyone working here as well but basic service and a bit more interest to solve problems (no WiFi in our rooms, no water, no electricity for some hours etc) can be expected at such a costly hotel. Once all the work is done it will be a beautiful place and the rooms have really nice interior designs. Still, service was very poor, no room service (!!), no emptying of bins, a dirty floor when we moved in, no water or glass available on the room. Also during breakfast some meals were not available for days. We are sorry for the harsh words and do want to thank the ladies at the front desk for their efforts!

Great stay, we love it , we had a lovely stay, we recomend it.

Fui con mi familia y la atención en la entrada fue horrible, aparte de grosera la chica nos atendió de muy mala gana. Le preguntamos por más cosas y nos dijo que buscáramos nosotros en la web (no se que clase de respuesta es esa). Trajeron la comida de terrible manera, y no nos dejaron ver muchas áreas del hotel. No volvería a ir aunque me paguen, porque la atención ha sido lo peor. Sin contar que nos prohibían cosas que veíamos a los demás hacer
