At first glance, the property appears charming in photos, but my experience told a different story. One evening, I overheard another guest describe the Checkin Bungalows as “like the slums,” and unfortunately, that sentiment resonated with me. Despite booking a Premium apartment, which included air conditioning, I found it disappointing that such a basic amenity was considered a premium feature—especially given the intense heat. During our week-long stay, our room was cleaned only once. The hotel advertises the option for late check out during your stay for an additional €25, but when I inquired, I was told—without any verification—that it was unavailable due to high occupancy and that all bookings had to be made online. However, when I checked online, there was ample availability. After pointing this out to the staff member (I believe her name was Maia), she simply told me to book it online. Reluctantly, I paid €78 to extend our stay for 6hours only to be assigned the exact same room that was supposedly unavailable moments earlier. It became clear that this was likely done to avoid cleaning a second room and to withhold the complimentary water and wine typically included with online bookings. Overall, the experience was disappointing and left me feeling misled. I would advise future guests to manage expectations and consider alternative accommodations.
