Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur - Adults Only

I can't understand why there are any negative reviews at all for this lovely hotel. We returned from our holiday on 10th September. Every member of staff is a credit to the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 408, well worth paying extra for the sea view, and our room was kept spotlessly clean and fresh. The bed was two singles pushed together but this is what we expected, the beds were very comfy. Toiletries were of a high standard. It's worth mentioning that there is no kettle, but a Nespresso coffee machine. Luckily we took our own travel kettle to make tea. Food was of a good standard, with plenty of choice. Most of the evening entertainment was good, even though the performers were only on for about an hour. The pool area was lovely, and not opened until 9.30 which is a good idea to prevent selfish people reserving their beds at the crack of dawn. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, promenade and shops. We enjoyed watching the ships in the harbour. All in all the perfect holiday.

brilliant hotel, very friendly helpful staff, good choice of food at all meals. pool area clean and tidy, plenty of sunbeds, easy access to prom, beach and short walk to shops and cafes,, all in all we had a very enjoyable holiday here for the second year running, we will be coming back next year as well.

Here now at the moment in the lovely h10 big sir, from the moment we arrived (3sept) the welcome we have had iwas truly exceptional from the reception to the waiters/cooks & room cleaners, nothing is too much trouble the Staff are so friendly & helpful, the room is lovely spotless! We paid to upgrade to a sea view on day one, its worth every penny, the food is lovely everywhere is so clean, we have another 16 days left to enjoy in this beautiful quiet efficiently run Hotel 😀

Pasamos dos semanas dentro de la estructura y qué puedo decir, quedamos satisfechos y nos sentimos como en casa. No queríamos volver por lo bien que lo pasamos. Hotel muy limpio, gran atención al detalle desde la recepción hasta la habitación. Todos los días las señoras de la limpieza arreglaban nuestra habitación y cambiaban las sábanas cada dos días. Agua y cafetera disponibles en la habitación de forma gratuita. Estábamos en el piso no. 7 habitaciones frente a la montaña, silenciosas por la noche. La recepción, toda la gente maravillosa y amable. Te dan consejos y siempre te ayudan. Durante el desayuno y la cena, tenemos que agradecer al personal del restaurante, que a pesar de las múltiples alergias de mi novio siempre estuvo disponible para mostrarle CADA noche lo que podía comer y lo que no. El Bar que nunca nos dejó sin cafés y cócteles bien elaborados. Y sobre todo la sonrisa cada día. Los guardias de seguridad, gente muy amable, EMMA y otro señor. Un agradecimiento especial para TODAS las personas que trabajan en este Hotel. Desafortunadamente no recordamos los nombres de todos y no pudimos agradecerles a todas las personas antes de irnos. A experiência no restaurante do H10 bem como todos os outros serviços foram perfeitos! Ambiente maravilhoso, comida e bebida excelentes com um Staff extremamente simpático acolhedor e profissional. Sentimo-nos em casa e certamente escolherei mais vezes H10 em futuras férias e escapadelas. Recomendo a adesão ao clube H10, dela surgem surpresas e mimos diários em cada estadia.

Lovely quiet hotel, just a step away from the beach. As soon as I entered we were given drinks & the staff were very attentive. The balcony to the room had a seaview & was great to sit out in the sun. The room was clean & the beds were very comfortable. I'd certainly stay here again & recommend the place to anyone.

I have just returned from hotel Big Sur, we had a lovely stay. All the staff were pleasant and helpful as well as the hotel being clean and well tended. There were issues in the kitchen on arrival but these improved within the day and we found the food offerings satisfying each day. The pool area was well kept with a good size pool and hot tub. This holiday I decided I was going to try out the fitness classes on offer, I choose to do the aqua classes as I love being in the water. These took place twice daily bar two days where the instructor was off. There was a varied offering of classes and I loved trying something new- Pilates, combat and even yoga on a paddle board. Isabella the instructor was lovely, encouraging and I looked forward to her classes each day.

Upon arrival we were given a welcome drink which was very well received and an upgraded room to Sea view which was excellent! The rooms are spacious enough for two with two slightly larger than single beds pushed together and a sofa in the room. The room was clean, we didn’t notice any issues. As we were half board we were given brackets which connect to the tab system - this way, the bar was cashless and you didn’t have to give over your room number. I think this is a great system. The pool doesn’t open until 9:30 which causes a bit of stress getting sun-bed, as there are only a few that are in the sun from this time. It was a little stressful to get one. Breakfast is typical of a half board with lots of selection - pastries, cooked breakfast, cereals, meats and cheese. I opted for the freshly cooked omelet most mornings which I found satisfying. Similarly with the dinner, there are options which are repetitive however the freshly cooked food varies and was always fine. The gym and spa facilities are a little dated. There seems to be missing dumbbells, few attachments for cable machines - so it was a little difficult to get a strength workout in. The floor was slippery too, which made things difficult. There is however, a few different cardio machines. We didn’t use the spa. There are activities in the pool throughout the day, one we tried which was enjoyable - paddle board yoga. It was fun and different. The hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants and bars in Los Cristianos but also not too far away from Playas Las Americas. We went out a few nights and enjoyed the following places and would recommend to others: - Limonella ( Italian restaurant) - Canada’s bar ( great for evening cocktails) - Hard Rock Cafe

Nice hotel in good location. Handy for restaurants and shops. Hotel restaurant serves an interesting and good quality dinner buffet.
