Eretzen Tá Lodge

Originally we planned to stay only 2 nights in the lodge, but the second we entered, it was just so charming, that we immediately decided to stay one night longer. Our room was nicely decorated and romantic (because there is only electricity available during the day through solar panels, so we only had candles for lightning at night, but for me that was part of the adventure). Juan Carlos, the owner of the lodge, and Johnny, the local guide, are really sweet (one night we were playing cards until late in the night) and know so much interesting stuff about the jungle and the life of the local people. And Juan Carlos speaks perfect english by the way. Plus they are really flexible with the organisation of tours to the jungle and have a lot of possible things to offer that you can do while you stay there - boat tours, hikes through the jungle, a canopy walk nearby,... Or you can just hang around in the lodge (they have floating beds on the second floor) and listen to the jungle surrounding the lodge. In summary it was just a perfect and fun experience staying there.
