What a gem of a find! Lovely hotel, recently refurbished from derelict and oh my what a wonderful job they have done! Decor is bright and clean. Amazing view of the bay from the huge lounge window. Single room was clean and comfortable with en-suite bath, shower and toilet. A working TV with all the channels which was unusual in my experience and much welcomed. James the owner and his staff were friendly and so helpful. The centre of Looe is a 10 - 15 minute walk away downhill (bit of a tough climb back up). Limited parking on site, but I had no trouble. Surrounding roads are busy and narrow. Looe itself was such a warm, friendly beautiful place and everything I hoped it would be. Lots to see and do. Busy, but peaceful and chilled. People were so friendly. Will definately return!

We were checked in by Kelly
We had a room towards the back of property
Kelly showed me a better room for an upgrade supplement
I also told her that it is my husband’s birthday
When we checked in there were balloons & a lovely bottle of complimentary bottle of wine
Our stay was good
Good make towels softer & shower more powerful

The hotel itself was lovely, and the view from the Lounge/Breakfast room was wirth the money alone. However, once i arrived and booked in and was shown to my room, the key code didn't work and the receptionist had to let me into the room, twice, when i came back with my luggage. Once i was in the room (i booked the single room) i discovered there was no wardrobe space. The two bedside cabinets had a couple of drawers to put bits in, but there was nowhere to hang anything! Something to be aware of if youre travelling alone. Having said all that, i did like the hotel, and the staff were very friendly, they did sort out my key code in the end. If youre going to stay, i would recommend paying the extra for a larger room, which hopefully do have wardrobes.

Parking was easy and the walk into East Looe was good.

A good stay
Nicely refurbished hotel easy check in room was clean spacious new kitchenette had to unpack pots and pans , could not get induction hob to work but no instructions so could be us our view from balcony was out onto wall at back of property room 17 so a bit of a let down other than that was a good stay many thanks team

This refurbished hotel is a credit to it's owner. Our room was 18 .. I'll start as you walk in the room. To the right was a great bathroom onto the main area there is a small kitchen area with a cooker microwave kettle fridge freezer and a sink. The large double bed is comfy. Then the best part was the balcony with wonderful views. The owner and staff invited us to be with them to watch the new year in. Great hotel and staff definitely will return

This is a lovely find. Plumpest pillows and duvet I have ever slept in. Everything was so very clean and new. Loved the little kitchen. Easy check in. But These are not critical remarks but observations. The mirror is nowhere near a socket so drying hair was a problem - I had to trail the usb socket across the room and plug my hairdryer into that - luckily i had a long lead. A mirror over the desk would be better. The fire escape light was so bright - it was like sleeping with the light on. I loved the little balcony but it was intact a fire escape route so no security - but rules are rules I suppose. There was nowhere to sit and eat. All the things are there to cook a meal but there's nowhere to sit and eat it. A small pull down table and chairs would be great - available in IKEA 😉 Overall a lovely stay but a few tweaks needed.
