The Watermark

I loved every part of staying at The Watermark, the people are so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty to choose from when booking your breakfast. The views from our room were outstanding! The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Everything was a 10/10 for me. We will definitely be returning without a doubt!!

The Watermark is family run and a wonderful place to stay. We have been visiting once or twice each year since 2014. The rooms are very clean, spacious, well laid out and the views, which include ocean, beach and town, are spectacular. The proprietors are very friendly and make us feel very welcome. They also provide an excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice. Always sad to leave but looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect for our sadly all to brief stay of 2 nights - we were made very welcome and the room was clean and comfortable with lots of little details all thought of and provided. Great views from both our spacious balcony and the breakfast room, where a hearty meal was provided to set us up for the day ahead each morning. Good location not too far to walk into town and less hilly than some in Looe! Big bonus to have a parking space! Thank you Tashy and family for making our stay such a pleasure, we would definitely stay again someday and are happy to recommend to others looking for a friendly and high quality guest house.

My first trip solo and I had the most lovely stay, hostess the nicest lady, I was made so welcome and the food, room and views were to die for. Very highly recommended. I was very nervous staying on my own but was put at ease right away and would love to stay again. I really can’t fault my stay.

Lovely room, spotlessly clean, excellent hosts in this family run hotel. Breakfasts were fantastic, served in dinning room, with amazing views of Looe beach - only drawback is that we had to make our choices the night before, however that is understandable in this small property. Nice to have a honesty bar, with realistic pricing. The main problem is car parking - potential visitors should note there are not sufficient parking spaces for all rooms; parking is in a very narrow street behind the hotel, spaces are extremely tight! There are also quite a few stairs within TheWatermark, so it may not be suitable for all. However, a lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay there.

The room was lovely, very clean & the view absolutely stunning, the bed was huge but mattress quite hard. Nice walk into the main town as downhill, so bit of a steep uphill trek going back but it's not too far. Parking at the back of hotel is quite tight & only a few spaces & all on a first come basis - best to park up then leave the car & use public transport for your stay - that's what we did which worked out perfectly. Very enjoyable stay all round. x
