The Longham White Horse

I was not expecting this stay to be as good as it was. Booked it last-minute, due to playing a gig in the local area. Well, it was a great find! From the moment I walked in, the landlord (and the locals!) gave a warm welcome. A fantastic location for a quaint inn with rooms. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, dressing table, shower gels et cetera. Such a lovely room, too! Breakfast in the morning was top-notch, too. I was sat on my own and the landlord made the effort to come over for a chat. Genuinely hospitable fella. Really enjoyed my stay!

We had an excellent and enjoyable 6 night stay in this quiet village pub. We were made very welcome by landlord Barry, who was happy to chat and cook us a lovely meal. He's a very nice guy. We had the large family room which was very comfortable and clean. Even though it was quite hot when we arrived the room was thankfully surprisingly cool. A fan was also provided. The shower was good with plenty of hot water available. There were some useful complementary toiletries and coffee and different teas in the room. The WiFi was also good. The breakfasts freshly cooked by Jenny were fantastic and set us up well for the day. Plenty of parking space available too. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Barry, the owner, made our stay special. Our 'family' room was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Lovely breakfasts cooked by Jenny and there was a very good atmosphere in the pub. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning

Stayed here with motorhome overnight on britstops, second visit here on our travels, Barry White is the landlord and he is most welcoming serving good beer, we had some lovely food at good prices, We'll worth a visit. We'll done Barry, see you again another day.

We stayed here with my brothers for 3 nights in March. Barry was very accommodating. Lovely breakfast. Clean room . Staff couldn’t do enough for us . The beer was great ! If we’re ever back in Norfolk we won’t stay anywhere else . The Berkeley brothers

This has been our second stay at this quaint pub. Barry is a wonderful host. We love the bar food that is on offer. We’ll be back in the summer. If you are looking for a welcoming place off the beaten track- this place is for you. Rooms are cosy and clean, it’s easy to mix with the locals.

Excellent room in a cosy pub - extremely friendly owner who cooked a great full English for us the next morning. We asked for early check in and Barry was only too happy to oblige. Could not fault the hotel - very clean and well appointed room. Would definitely return!

Mr Barry White kindly took us in for Christmas Day. Beautiful pub with warm welcome, was great to sit by the log burner. Room very spacious with comfortable bed. Fantastic full English for breakfast. Hoping to be back!

We stayed at this lovely public house for one night following a family trip. On a very cold blustery evening we received the most warmest of welcomes from the owner Barry. We were shown to our room which was a very large en-suite room which could have accommodated a family as there were two sleeping areas, one with a very comfortable double and the other had two single beds, tea and coffee facilities were provided along with bottled water. We went to the bar where we received a very Friendly welcome by some of the village locals and ordered food and drinks, sitting in front of the open fire was very pleasant. The food was lovely ( home made pie made by Barry and scampi). Had a very comfortable nights sleep and the full English breakfast the next morning definitely did not disappoint . I would definitely recommend The longham White Horse and would like to thank Barry for such an enjoyable stay. Debbie from Frinton
