EasyHotel Paddington

Great location at a fraction of the cost of other hotels in the area. Friendly staff on check in and every time we entered or left the hotel. Always interested in what we had been up to that day. Rooms were big enough although bathroom could have been a little bigger. On the whole though the hotel is clean, tidy and just what is needed for sleeping. Yes, it’s undergoing refurbishment but this was explained. Look past the building works and the hotel is perfect! Just what you’d expect from the Easy branding. Clean. Professional staff. Thanks for making our stay great. See you in October (hopefully!)

Pour notre séjour à Londres nous avions décidé de choisir l’hôtel en fonction du tarif et non du confort. Pour un prix plus que bas, nous avons choisi l’easy hôtel Paddington. Bien desservi, il ne faut cependant pas avoir peur de l’odeur du tabac froid, de la taille ridicule des chambres et de la propreté de celles-ci (poils dans la douche, trou dans les murs, miettes dans le lit et j’en passe). Heureusement que c’était pour nous un lieu pour dormir et rien de plus.

scam credit card charge. pre-charged my cc full amount $800 dollar for a stay that is 6 months out. I did NOT book under a "non-refundable advanced rate". My easyHotel account has no record of the reservation - but easyHotel Paddington have charged my credit card!

So after reading some reviews I was dreading this stay but how wrong was I . Pros The area is near to everything via walk or short bus journey The hotel is 24 hours so you can go back whatever time you’d like The rooms are newly refurbished with air con and heating aswell as a Tv and free wifi The cons No lifts so it was a little bit of a struggle to carry the suitcases up stairs with a shoulder injury. Points that I’ve read that are way off the truth Staff being rude - absolutely not we met 3 different staff members on our trip here and all were very polite and happy! The heating not working - our first room did have a dodgey system but we was quickly moved to another room that had the warmest heating system we could of asked for - the post saying how unhelpful this hotel and staff where must of been very rude or confused. Lastly the things that could be improved but didn’t put a damper or ruin our trip at all Yes the stairs and the reception are a little run down but as said the rooms were all brand new! The bathroom where a little on the small side where my partner did struggle a little to sit comfortably being 6ft but again didn’t ruin our stay at all. All in all I was highly satisfied and I would definitely stay again when visiting London

On entering the hotel I was struck by a rather ramshackle reception - large holes in the grubby walls (several inches in diameter), torn carpets and a PC plonked on a table, with a plethora of wires everywhere, serving as check in. The receptionist was charming and very helpful, but first impressions were not helped by the chipped/ dirty paintwork and torn/ frayed carpets on the stairs down to my basement room. The good news was that my very small room was spotless. However, I'm just under six foot, and in order to fit on the double bed I had to sleep diagonally, whilst the sound of the plumbing kept me awake for a hour or so. Also, raising to blind to look out of the window, I saw that it faced a blank wall, just a foot or so way, with some light from a grill in the pavement filtering though. Luckily it was only one night, and I did get some sleep. Overall 'it did', although I would hesitate to recommend the hotel to the more fainthearted.

We visited EasyHotel Paddington due to a business trip. I had previously had really bad experiences with the Shoreditch EasyHotel but good experiences with the Birmingham Hotel so I wasn’t sure what the Paddington Hotel would be like however I was surprised. On the outside things are shabby, not as the images show on the website. There is a going renovation and we was very lucky to get a room that was renovated with a window for £85. Not bad at all! It’s a basic hotel. Don’t go in with the mindset it’s going to be a 5 star experience. It felt like a university dormitory in a cosy way. We had the aircon on which worked and didn’t leak. The pillows was relatively thin but we had a good night’s sleep. The bathroom is the smallest I’ve been in for an easy hotel but it was functional. As a rather tall person it didn’t phase me. Overall this was a good experience and made us change our mind on EasyHotels. We will definitely visit them again.
