What can I say that hasn’t been said of Brown’s Hotel. As a frequent visitor to London itself, Brown’s seemed like a no brainer amongst the luxury hotels to choose from in the city. Having stayed at other properties in the brand’s portfolio we felt certain that the experience would be on par, but even still, the staff, service, design and property itself at Rocco Forte Brown’s exceeded every expectation. Let’s start with the design, which is truly stunning. Make no mistake, the official hotel photographs do not lie or exaggerate. The design itself, grand, serene, warm and yet none of it gives off a “look but don’t touch” kind of vibe. Which brings me to the service. Anyone familiar with Rocco Forte hotels has come to know the delicate balance that the company manages to strike between the utmost in refined service which truly lives up to its five star rankings, and a relaxed, friendly, not at all fussy atmosphere that feels both inviting and warm. That being said, the level of service and the staff that has been assembled at Brown’s is in a league of its own. The service was always attentive without being obtrusive, whether that was in the restaurants, with the concierge or in the reception and the staff that we spent the most time interacting with during our stay were each wonderful, friendly, helpful and truly lovely. All in all, it was an exceptional experience, from the booking of our accommodation, making the requested arrangements, concierge arranging our transfers prior to our arrival, to waking up each morning to a beautiful breakfast in Mayfair. We are so glad that we trusted our instinct and stayed at Brown’s once again to celebrate our Anniversary. It will definitely not be the last!
