A modern hotel, only a few minutes walk from Aldgate tube. Good views of the city from our room, which was clean with a floor to ceiling window. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was small but for the price I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Motel One in London, and as I would expect from this reliable chain, it provided a consistently pleasant experience. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The compact and efficient design of the room and narrow corridors gave off a bit of a spaceship vibe, but yes, it was a bit tight. The real highlight, as with other Motel One locations, was the breakfast. It was fresh, well-stocked and offered a great variety — one of the things that keeps me coming back to this chain. If you’re looking for a comfortable, fuss-free stay in a central location with a great breakfast to start your day, Motel One London is a solid choice.

It is my first time at this hotel. Decided to book one night stay with my partner. Check in was great with lovely receptionist I think her name is Jonida . Room was not ready before 3pm. I went out to do a bit of shopping and return to the hotel around 16:00pm . Still the room was not ready. Another receptionist served us and gave us upgrade to the room with a city view. Which I was happy. I had problem with Air conditioner and kindly went to the reception to ask for the help. A member of staff came to change the setting for AC to make room warmer. A few hours later in the evening around 22:30pm the AC was blowing cold air and felt really cold in the room. Decided not to complain as it was already late to change rooms. I covered myself with duvet.. During checkout I mentioned this issue to the receptionist. In most hotels that I have been never had a problem with AC and this hotel was brand new. Downside is there was no refrigerator and telephone in the room. I had a terrible stay for a night. I would like some compensation please.

As a lone traveller I found the location to be a little intimidating. The rooms are quite dated and limited windows in rooms which makes them warm a little uninviting. Staff were pleasant, couldn’t fault them. As a place to lay your head, it’s ok, but not for any extended period of time.

Hotel in a very convenient location. I was in one of the rooms that overlooked other buildings as opposed to the road, so the volume of traffic doesn’t impact every room. Check in was quick but impersonal. Rooms are a good size, mattress and pillows were to my liking but could be too soft for others. One thing that lets this hotel down is the curtains in the bedroom – something that most hotels don’t seem to get right. They are too short and are not blackout, so on a very sunny Friday morning like today you are going to be woken up as the Sun rises. In addition, there are no USB ports on any of the plug sockets, so very difficult to charge your phone if you only have a USB card.
