DoubleTree by Hilton London – Docklands Riverside arvostelua

Really cute hotel! Perfect for weekend trips and the warm cookie on arrival was great. The only issue is transport, you have to get a bus and then walk when you get to rotherhite station - but uber boat is an option. Staff were super helpful even though it was busy.

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dockside and had a generally pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement. Location: The hotel is a bit removed from the city centre, which means you'll need to plan your travel carefully. We found ourselves relying mostly on the boat to Canary Wharf, which, while scenic, adds some time and coordination to each outing. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was a highlight. We were greeted warmly with the signature DoubleTree cookies – a small but lovely surprise. Even more thoughtful, the staff noted that we were celebrating a birthday and offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar. That personal touch really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Room Comfort: The room was comfortable enough, but there were a couple of issues worth noting. The soundproofing wasn’t great – we could clearly hear the sea waves throughout the night, which might be relaxing for some, but was a bit disruptive for us. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. We found garbage left in the bin, which detracted from the overall sense of hygiene and attention to detail. Overall: This hotel has some lovely, thoughtful staff and a few standout gestures that enhanced our stay. However, its distance from central London and a few cleanliness and soundproofing issues might not make it ideal for every traveller. With a bit more attention to room maintenance, it could be a much stronger option.

A dated property with not the best level of cleanliness, near the river which if you don’t mind being far from where things happen is fine. It does have a ferry to take one to Canary Wharf and that is super convenient, however, the hotel itself needs a complete overhaul. The air conditioning doesn’t work, no fridges in the room unless requested. Carpets need replacing and are far from clean. Their charges for water is extortionate.

I had a river view room which it was really nice

酒店環境很不錯，對面就是金絲雀碼頭，酒店的客人可以免費坐擺渡船到對面west ferry；入住人員很熱情，但是安排的房間是在地下1樓，有點吵，但整體還算可以，酒店外面的夜景很漂亮。

Excellent hotel and staff service.

I wish we could get our trip refunded cause it was honestly shocking how this place has 4 stars meanwhile we discovered hair and stains on the bedding, the bathroom was not nice, the carpet flooring was dirty and had spots of paint to. One of the lamps wasn't working at all, the sockets and the small lamp as well as one of the drawers was loose. When we asked for a different room they offered us one that looked just as bad only half the size. Didn't expect that from a 4 star hotel and we won't be back.
