Visitor during February half term chose this hotel as my husband and daughters were visiting Sadlers Wells to watch a ballet, this premier inn was perfectly located. We took the tube easily over from Paddington with one stop and was a quick walk to the hotel itself. On arrival (3pm) my sons and I couldn’t get the self checkin system to work which was frustrating, so I approached the desk to be told there was a wait list for him to help check people in, pointing over to the bar area where lots of people were sitting so I told my sons to take a seat and I waited with them frustrated like the others that the two machines placed for people to work themselves were not working. Then very frustratingly more people arrived and started to form a queue even though I had been told this guy had a list (written down) he was working through he began helping those stood in the queue so I left my sons and joined the queue as well, when almost at the front (10-15 minutes waiting) another member of staff finally arrived and asked if she could help me she then took me over to the self serve machine even though I’d told her it didn’t work, fortunately she must’ve known what to do and managed to get it to work using a different code (not the QR code). We then had our room key and made our way to our room was was lovely and spacious despite having to share with the kids, everything was perfectly clean and our nights sleep considering it was in central London was really peaceful. This is the fourth time staying in a premier inn in London (first time here) and I, again, can’t fault the sleep we all got and how quiet our night was! Would definitely recommend - other than the silly technology at the start.
