最近入住了位於倫敦諾丁山的Ruby Zoe酒店,這次體驗可以説是一次徹底的失望。作為一家聲稱以“藝術與設計”著稱的酒店,基礎服務卻讓人失望。以下是我在入住期間遇到的主要問題:
1. 房間隔音極差,嚴重影響睡眠
房間的隔音效果非常糟糕,凌晨一兩點左右一直聽到斷斷續續的滴水聲,這種不規律的刺耳聲音讓我徹夜難眠。入住的幾晚裏都無法保證六小時的睡眠,對於一個酒店而言,連最基本的安靜睡眠環境都無法保障,這是無法接受的。
2. 房間設施簡陋,服務不到位
房間裏沒有提供拖鞋和熱水茶包,居然需要客人自己去小吧枱取用,拖鞋甚至還要額外收費。這種“自助式服務”真的讓人覺得體驗非常廉價,完全不值這個價位。
3. 早餐質量差且價格偏高
酒店的早餐同樣令人失望,唯一的熱菜是鷹嘴豆醬,其他都是冷菜。在寒冷的早晨,吃這些胃非常不舒服,更別提早餐的價格並不便宜,性價比低到讓人無語。
4. 過度強調藝術感,忽略實際體驗
房間內充滿了各種關於藝術的宣傳:兩種簡單的沐浴露被描述得花裏胡哨,垂直花灑、床單上的紅絲帶都被冠以各種藝術名詞。然而,基礎體驗的缺失讓這些所謂的“藝術設計”變得毫無意義,甚至令人反感。這種自吹自擂讓整個住宿體驗更加令人頭疼。
總結來説,Ruby Zoe更像是一個用“藝術”包裝的廉價酒店,完全忽視了客人最基本的住宿需求。這樣一家的酒店實在不值得推薦,希望未來管理層能認真改進服務,不要讓“藝術”成為掩蓋糟糕體驗的幌子。
A Disappointing Stay - Ruby Zoe Notting Hill, London
I recently stayed at Ruby Zoe Hotel in Notting Hill, London, and it turned out to be a thoroughly disappointing experience. For a hotel that prides itself on “art and design,” its basic services fell far short of expectations. Here are the main issues I encountered during my stay:
1. Poor soundproofing, severely affecting sleep
The soundproofing in the room was terrible. Around 1 or 2 a.m., I kept hearing intermittent dripping sounds, which were irregular and piercing. This noise made it impossible to sleep through the night. Over several nights, I couldn’t even get six hours of uninterrupted sleep. For a hotel, failing to provide a quiet environment for rest is simply unacceptable.
2. Minimal room amenities and inadequate service
The room did not provide basic amenities such as slippers or tea bags. Guests had to go to a small bar to get them themselves, and the slippers were even charged separately. This “self-service” approach felt cheap and unworthy of the price point of the stay.
3. Poor-quality breakfast at a high cost
The breakfast was equally disappointing. The only hot dish available was hummus, while everything else was cold. On a chilly morning, eating such food was uncomfortable and upsetting to the stomach. To make matters worse, the breakfast was overpriced, offering shockingly poor value for money.
4. Overemphasis on art, neglecting practical experience
The room was filled with excessive promotion of “artistic” features: two simple shower gels were described in pretentious terms, the vertical showerhead and the red ribbons on the bed linens were given fancy names. However, the lack of basic functionality made these so-called “artistic designs” utterly meaningless and even off-putting. This self-indulgent overemphasis on art made the overall experience even more frustrating.
In conclusion, Ruby Zoe feels more like a low-cost hotel disguised with an “artistic” facade, completely ignoring the basic needs of its guests. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I hope the management seriously considers improving their services instead of using “art” as a cover for a poor guest experience.

However, as part of our Lean Luxury philosophy, we do some things differently to other hotels. For instance the layout of our rooms and the way that they're furnished. All of our rooms are carefully designed to make the best use of the space, and we put a lot of emphasis on the quality of the materials we use. This is why we concentrate on the essential in a hotel and leave away superfluous stuff. So instead of a kettle in every room, we offer a galley with free tea and hot water on almost every floor. You can also get a pair of slippers from the vending machine. As part of our unique philosophy, we always believe in offering the highest quality experience at the best possible price. From our choice of furnishings to the food we serve, we focus on quality over quantity, which is why our breakfast selection is slightly smaller than other hotels'. We do our best to offer something for everyone though, from superfood muesli, fruit and whole wheat bread to tasty pastries, cheeses and meats. Unfortunately, it's tricky to keep hot food at its best on a buffet and we're not fans of rubbery scrambled egg. Instead, we serve up a healthy continental selection, and plenty of freshly brewed Italian barista coffee. If that's not for you, our hosts are always happy to recommend cafés and restaurants nearby if you'd like to branch out. Nevertheless, we're very sorry to hear that you had restless nights during your stay with us. While all of our rooms have high-quality sound insulation, it's sometimes quieter on higher floors. Next time you stay, just add a note to your booking and we'll do our best to find you a room in a more peaceful part of the hotel. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you on your next visit to London.Your Ruby Zoe Team

Excellent location in Notting Hill , we visit the area 3-4 times a year and it’s our new default place to stay .
Good value for money , very clean rooms and nice ground floor area to sit and chill .
