Upper Deck Resort - Stay and Relax at the Highest Peak Lonavala

Disappointing Experience Despite Premium Pricing The overall management of the Upper Deck is well below expectations. Despite spending over ₹25,000 for a night—including food and beverages—the experience was deeply underwhelming. Room service was unavailable, and the buffet was poorly managed. Replenishment was often delayed, and guests had to constantly chase the service staff for basic items. To make matters worse, the food quality was subpar—nowhere near what you'd expect at a resort positioned at this price point. Given the lack of service, poor food standards, and overall mismanagement, I would not recommend this property to anyone. A resort charging premium rates must at least deliver the basics right.

The property is beyond words, it's so beautiful and well-maintained. The amenities are pretty decent and the hotel is huge. The prices are very premium equivalent to a 5-star property but the food, the buffet spread and the overall services are not at par with the price they charged. The breakfast has very limited options and the "live" Maggi and vada pav are not part of the buffet and charged separately as al a carte. The rooms and washrooms are pretty average and could use some work. The al a carte menu is priced very expensive. Overall, great place but needs improvement in terms of the services for the prices charged.

Overall resort is good, I liked few things about resorts is Service, View from resort. Few things that can improve is food - there are lot of food options but still need to improve food taste. Rooms- rooms are old fashioned rooms, so you won’t feel fresh in the room but rooms are spacious. Overall great experience at Upper deck.

Easter lunch buffet Excellent food and service. We had a great warm and refreshing afternoon. Visvaraj gave us great cate and so did Henna who took ourbooking and answered all our queries. Thanks again and all the best to the entire team. Happy Easter.

The resort was beautiful and set up in a serene atmosphere. It might look more beautiful in Monsoon but it was really pleasant, cool and windy in summer. The food is decent and the options are also good. Overall it's a really good stay in Lonavala with amazing views and greenery around it

Key issues included: - Unclean Washrooms: Dirty and poorly maintained. - Broken Wash Basin: Not functional. - Water Leakages: Noticeable and concerning. - Room Expectations: Given the price, rooms with a view were expected, but not provided. - Room Service: Unavailable, which was disappointing. - Swimming Pool: Closed at 6 PM, limiting its use. - Food: Overpriced compared to quality and portion sizes. - Road Conditions: The road leading to the hotel was in poor shape, making late-evening travel with family feel unsafe due to lack of lighting and uneven surfaces. Suggestions for Improvement: - Cleanliness and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain rooms and washrooms. - Room Service: Consider extending room service hours or offering alternative options. - Swimming Pool: Extend pool hours to accommodate guests' schedules. - Food Pricing: Review menu pricing to ensure value for money. - Road Conditions: Collaborate with local authorities to improve road conditions and lighting for safer travel. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvements to meet guest expectations and justify its pricing. Only one thing is good is there staff and there behaviours. They are very polite.
