LOLOATA ISLAND RESORT

Beautiful resort close to Port Moresby. Great service and plenty of activities on and around the island to kick back for a couple of days.

The customer service was amazing. There were no delays experienced. Just a suggestion on the starter's meal menu, would be awesome to include chicken corn soup. Otherwise, my family and I enjoyed kayak around the island. The experience was great.

The island is quite and such a lovely place to relax with the breath taking views on the room balcony. Buggy services to and from your room. The pool and beach to catch up with family and friends. I'll be coming back with my family for a long weekend.

I have heard about Loloata Resort for a long time & now have spent three nights there. I was pleasantly surprised to find it better than I had imagined. The staff are a delight. Nothing is too hard for them. They smile and try to make your stay wonderful. We snorkelled, kyaaked, walked the track, and swam in the pool. The food was wonderful. I could not fault any meal. The staff in the dive shop are great, as is the equipment. Jessica, one of the managers, works hard to make sure everything is running smoothly. The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable.

First of all, let me start by saying that this resort used to be a lot better than it is now. I'll add some pros and cons along with pics and video so you can decide for yourself. In my opinion, this place is sinking/going downhill....fast PROS: Beautiful, clean rooms Good food (3.5 out of 5 for most) Good, friendly staff, though sometimes not that attentive Lots of recreational activities to do such as kayaking, hiking, diving, and snorkeling CONS: There are 2 pools. The main pool and a "kids" pool. The kids' pool is hardly used, toddlers are in the main pool and often are not even wearing swim diapers. (Gross!) There is scum all around the waters edge of the pool Some towels are stained and dirty As I said, it used to be a lot better, but it's far from a luxurious resort/boutique
