A very reasonably priced B&B with comfortable rooms and an excellent made-to-order breakfast. Very friendly hosts, personable and welcoming. Ample free parking. I stayed for three nights to visit Kilmartin Glen, Inveraray Castle, and the Crinan Canal. Kilmory House B&B was a perfect base for this part of my trip.

I stayed at Kilmory house for 2 nights on a motorbike run, my room was great with eusuite coffee and tea facilities, fridge and tv, there is a large living room to meet up, the breakfast was fantastic with many choices, it is in a good location for shops and restaurants, the owners were friendly and helpful if you needed anything, I will definitely return. My elderly parents and I stayed here in October 2024, using it as a base for sightseeing and walks amongst the standing stones in the local area all the way to Kilmartin, which is just a short drive away. What a special place it is! Clean, well appointed, terrific breakfasts, and a special thanks to our lovely hosts Bobby and Jeannette with whom we had many talks. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next visit!

I stayed in a small single room which was decorated to a high standard and included a hand made quilt on the bed. The room had an ensuite shower room too. The WIFI service was good and it was cosy. The hosts were exceptionally cordial and welcoming. There is a shared living room which had low lighting (that can be brightened) adding to the cosy atmosphere with a log burner which was lovely. The lino/woodcut wall art in the room was an added touch. I met another family member at breakfast who accommodated my dietary requirements. The food was lovely and lots of choice for other guests. I especially loved fresh milk and water in the room (in a small fridge) and the free parking. 10/10

What can I say. This hidden gem of s place Cant fault it this accom in any way Host was lovely. Brekky staff. Lovely Couldn't do enough for you The Accom Spotless modern well laid out Parking Great brekky. Fresh all made Bedroom Comfy bed. Great room Was in room 1. Beautiful decor Power shower Fridge Smart TV. Brill Great views We will be back def when visiting that way again can honestly say the loveliest modern accom in the Area June & Lyall Simpson

Great B&B we stopped off overnight as it was a perfect location to get down to the Islay ferry in the morning, food options in Lochgiliphead are limited but there is great restaurant a 20 mins drive in Tayvallich friendly reception and really good breakfast.

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Kilmer House whilst exploring the area’s prehistoric monuments. Bright, fresh decor, a warm welcome and spotlessly clean room are a great start. Added extras include the landlady’s hand-made patchwork quilts, fresh milk in the bedroom and some unusual breakfast choices such as avocado toast. Our room also had a good view of Loch Gilp. Two minor niggles: the rooms on the top floor have sloping ceilings, so are not great for tall people, and you need to log in repeatedly to the WiFi. Overall, a great place and highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights, mostly as a stopover on our way to Mull. The hosts were welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit cramped (nowhere to hang clothes) and because it was in the attic I kept banging my head! Breakfasts were superb with a great choice. The house is on the main road, so a bit noisy if you have the window open. I don’t think we'd stay there again because Lochgilphead is run down - a bit of a sad place really with lots of closed down shops. The only place for an evening meal is the Indian restaurant that has six tables - we arrived early and got a place and it was good. But other than that there's nothing.
