Hotel la Carolina

Huge disappointment. I am really not sure why this hotel is classed as a 4-star hotel, it is severely lacking in facilities and service. The rooms are very basic (no kettle, no mini fridge and barely working AC), they smell of dampness like an old church and the bathrooms have absolutely zero ventilation. Not to mention the fact that the walls are thin enough to hear a mouse squeak 3 rooms down from you, it's the first time I've had to purchase earplugs on a vacation. The breakfast buffet is poor, not very fresh nor warm. The pool had murky water and didn't seem to have been maintained well until we asked a member of staff about it and magically the water was clear and filtered the next day. And to top it off the service received by the staff was horrible. Super rude and un-interested by any questions or concerns raised. On the last day, I left some items at the pool to use the hotel's bathroom (all within the walls of the hotel's private, cctv'd property), upon returning back to the pool my stuff was gone. I had asked the receptionist on duty, because the reception faces the pool, if she had seen anything or maybe one of her colleagues was doing a clean up and moved the stuff. She told me she didn't see anything, I asked whether she or anyone on duty with her can check the camera just to figure out what happened. I was told that she cannot, only her boss who was unavailable or the police can. When I enquired further she told me to go to the police as she will not speak to me anymore and that it is my fault for leaving anything unattended on the hotel's PRIVATE property. The whole interaction was very upsetting because of how disregarded I was by the unfriendly staff. I would not recommend staying in this hotel.

Buenas noches, voy a poner palabras e imágenes tras la experiencia vivida en su establecimiento de "4 estrellas". Contraté a través de @viajeselcorteingles varios hoteles para pasar unos días de vacaciones y lo vivido en este fue tremendo. En primer lugar, diré que he contratado varios viajes con esta empresa y tras lo vivido creo que deben ser conocedores de lo que ofrecen....(les haré llegar la reseña y la reclamación puesta). Al llegar al hotel solicitamos una habitación con balcón porque al pasar un par de días de playa, era necesario para las toallas de los peques, ya que vimos que en el baño ni siquiera había el típico tendedero de la bañera (hotel de 4 estrellas....). Pues bien, a día de hoy aún estamos esperando la contestación por parte del dueño (ya no lo haga estoy en mi domicilio ya). Tras esto nos vimos obligados a extender las toallas en sillas y ventanas de la habitación, las cuales al abrir se desconectaba un sensor del aire acondicionado y era imposible estar por el calor y los mosquitos......como podéis ver en las fotos no podíamos extender en la ventana porque arrastraban en un tejado lleno de colillas y calzoncillos, los cuales eran nuestras bonitas vistas. Tras dar por hecho que a esto nos teníamos que acostumbrar y que sólo eran 2 noches, quedaba el PREMIO GORDO: Al pasar el segundo día en las playas y calas de la zona, volvimos a la habitación y...... SORPRESA!!!! no estaba hecha la cama; toallas sin cambiar,....de inmediato bajo a recepción a decirlo (tranquilos seguían sin buscar mi habitación con balcón) y lo único que el "jefe" me contesta es: lo siento; mientras que la señorita de recepción me dice que si me daba 2 toallas.....ÉRAMOS 4 JAJAJAJAJA!!!! INCREIBLE. Le pedí que me diera 4 y las de aseo por lo menos, la cama ya me la hacía yo y al día siguiente que nos íbamos ya hablaríamos. Al irnos puse una reclamación oficial por los servicios NO PRESTADOS (SI PAGADOS), en una copia que tuvieron que imprimirme varias, porque........NO TENÍAN LIBRO DE RECLAMACIONES (lo entiendo porque no deben dar a basto reponiéndolos). PD: Mientras rellenaba la reclamación, unos huéspedes franceses se estaban quejando que tenían hormigas en la habitación (espero le hicieran mas caso que con mi habitación). Posiblemente a ellos les hicieran caso, porque claramente es lo que le interesa a este "hotel".....turismo extranjero al que pueden engañar con servicios prestados por un módico precio. Al año que viene tienen otra habitación para engañar a ingleses, alemanes, rusos, italianos,......porque a mi y espero que a gente que se plantee ir a su "hotel de 4 estrellas" no me volverán a ver el pelo. À éviter. Ils vous évitent, ne font audible effort pour vous aider, être à l’écoute et prendre en compte vos demandes. LOL aucun sens morale concernant vos problème J’ai eu un soucis m’empêchant de venir à ma réservation. J’ai été obliger de les harceler pour avoir des réponses et quant à la demande de remboursement ou geste commercial ils m’ont éviter et quand j’ai contacter booking ils n’ont rien voulu savoir

Notre chambre était agréable, grande, avec une belle salle de bain. Néanmoins, nous avons eu affaire à des problèmes d'eau conséquents. En effet, l'eau s'écoulait tout le temps, sans interruption. De plus, il fallait laisser l'eau de la douche couler afin d'avoir accès à l'eau du robinet du lavabo. Le lavabo qui s'écoulait d'ailleurs très mal. Ces inconvénients sont quand même à prendre en compte. Les petits déjeuners sont corrects, on ne prendra pas en compte le visage deterré de l'employée, qui ne se gêne pas à se préparer un café avec la machine des clients, en me passant devant alors que j'allais justement pour m'en préparer un. L'hôtel est très bien placé, quelques mètres des commerces et de la plage c'est très agréable. En somme, c'est un hôtel agréable mais qui mériterait un bon coup de dépoussiérage afin de mériter son statut de 4 étoiles.

El peor trato jamás recibido. Me han cobrado dos veces y no me devuelven el dinero, no cogen el teléfono. Son unos estafadores, No lo recomiendo jamás por el deplorable trato. Tengo los dos cargos del hotel, y dan largas, no cogen teléfono...qué se puede esperar de alguien así? Si llamas por la mañana, que llame por la tarde, donde ya nadie contesta, y encima me tratan de tonto diciendo que qué raro que aún no me lo hayan devuelto. Quizá porque no habéis realizado la devolución!!!
