Friendly staff , nice atmosphere ,good food room comfortable and warm

This place is a quiet and friendly hotel where the staff make you feel very welcome. The breakfast we had was fabulous and the walks nearby were amazing we will definitely be staying there again!

Will stay there again Lovely little hotel and pub. The food was great, and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, despite being rushed off their feet in the evenings. Will stay there again if we are in the area

Great staff. Tired decor. Lovely, friendly staff in a tired and dated pub/hotel.

Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very dirty. Needs a good wipe around the skirting boards. But could also do with a lick of paint

Called in today(11/02/2024) after doing a fairly sizeable circular walk... So we were hungry! Staff were immediately accommodating and super friendly and served us up with a really lovely roast for the 3 of us. Lovely meat and proper hearty, good value food. Beer was damn good too! I appreciate small pubs/hotels live and die by their reputation so really urge people to give this a try. You'll not be disappointed

The landlady was exceptionally lovely , nothing was too much trouble. We had the vegan Sunday Lunch, absolutely beautiful . We all appreciated the fire and all the Christmas touches, and we will certainly be back . We also had a Neuro-Diverse young man with us who was welcomed wholeheartedly. Thank you so much 😊
