Ardwyn House

Wonderful hosts, tastefully designed rooms, lovely beds and great breafast....little to add the the existing great reviews. House is 300m (approx), ie a short walk from cente of village, where the pubs are friendly but perhaps a bit tired, and then took a trip up the Abergwysyn Valley and Lyn Brianne Dam the next day - all just lovely. Back to Ardwyn, would we return - most definitely............and to be stressed, truly lovely hosts and nothing too much trouble. As an aside, just great to return to Ardwyn. Worked here 40 years ago when it was outdoor pursuits and management training centre for Rolls-Royce and BAe apprentices and managers. Was a lot shabbier back then, but still many happy memories and great times; been beautifully renovated now btw.

Fantastic stay Fantastic stay at Ardwyn. Roger was a lovely host, welcomed us with tea and cake, which was much appreciated after our huge cycle to get there. The bed was like a cloud and the roll top bath was the icing on the cake! We opted for the cooked breakfast in the morning which was generous and delicious too, we will definitely be back.

What a fabulous find. We booked last minute due to circumstances and so glad we waited. We arrived earlier than expected but we were welcomed with a cup of tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake . Tea and cake provided each afternoon in our return... delicious. Room was beautiful, we had the Rennie mackintosh theme room which was stunning, chose this as it had the slipper bath which for me was an absolute treat. Breakfast amazing and cooked fresh. Roger and Katiare great hosts , we we definitely return. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
