Whitehouse Hotel

The location is very good close to the beach but very dirty and unhygienic rooms especially shower. The carpet was dump, windows very dirty, the bedding was no fresh and we’re not changed throughout our 5 day trip. No towels were provided. l loved the location but l definitely would not go back to this same hotel

Good place for short stay and price is cheap.

Bewildered by bad reviews here Admittedly, I've only stayed there once, two years ago, but there weren't any smells, and no noise - in fact, it felt at times as if there was no-one else there, which can't have been the case, It looks as if the rosemary bush is no longer there, that the owner took there from the cottage I previously rented from him - that's rather sad, but they don't last for ever I'll certainly go again some time, although I 'm not sure when

Nice and beautiful views facing the sea. Close to town centre no need of cars,parking on the road cheap and easy. Various hotels around, including restaurants . Not far from snowdonia, about a 40-minute drive. If you love nature, it is the best place to visit in Wales

The price we paid reflected the state of this hotel. It was clean but the bed & shower were broken. The hotel was closing down for refurbishment so can understand not spending money on things. It's a pity as the hotel is in a great location with fantastic views

1- the breakfast was really good. That's the ONLY good thing to happen 2- Damp in the bathroom 3- Mold behind the bathroom taps 4- Shower didn't work. Could only have a bath 5- Wallpaper peeling off the ceiling and wall 6- Curtains not fitted on the rails 7- Window was filthy inside and outside 8- bed was on a tilt ( if I slept on the leaning tower of Pisa I would have been better) 9- My bed had broken slats 10- Other bed was really squeaky 11- Hole in the wall in the bathroom 12- No toilet brush 13- No extra towels ( including hand towels) 14- was told couldn't have breakfast on the Monday when we stayed 15- Never a member of staff when needed them 16- Bar was not open 17- Lift didn't work plus it was way too small for me 18- window didn't close plus other one didn't open. 19- beautiful seaview but have to go up on a step to see it 20- Door is very loud and can't keep it open if needed 21- Loose light fittings above both beds 22- Old blankets in the wardrobes 23- Dirt on top of the wardrobe 24- No bin in the room only a tiny bin in the bathroom 25- Owner didn't seem to like talking to guests 26- unwanted person knocking on my door at 6:18am. See pictures. Not going to be staying here again. Beautiful cats and dog was getting many affection from me
