Housel Bay Hotel

Stunning hotel right on the cliffs, close to the Lizard peninsula. Super friendly staff, went out of their way to help. Food was great, views are awesome. I had a room at the back, so no view, but it was very good value. The room and bathrooms are modern with nice linen.

Infissi obsoleti; arredi e letti Ikea; insonorizzazione inesistente (tanto che si sente chiunque parli in corridoio o nelle stanze accanto); inservienti delle pulizie rumorose e che aprono la porta della camera alle 8 am …non proprio standard adeguati all’immagine prestigiosa che si vuole vendere! Location impagabile!

Tolles Haus

A totally fantastic experience. All staff were so warm, helpful and welcoming. I’m particular Alexander, the wine expert. This young man was exceptional. He knew his wine. The tasting menu is a treat for your taste buds, such a clever menu. The view from our room was just breathtaking and beautiful walks. We left happy and relaxed. Well done all at Housel Bay Hotel.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch. Wonderful service fantastic food. All 3 courses were delicious. The beef melted in your mouth, the roast potatoes well crispy and fluffy in the middle. The Yorkshire puddings were large and full of delicious gravy.

We were not staying at the hotel but went there for dinner. The service and the food was outstanding. Wonderful choices on the menu and staff were very attentive and friendly. We ate in the Terrace Restaurant and upon arrival I was a little disappointed with the ‘“basic look” of the room. The table that we were sat in was also chipped around the edges which made it feel a little “cheap”. And it was a bit cold in the room. I feel that a little TLC to this restaurant could make a huge difference and make it more welcoming. This would align it with the superb quality of the food and service for me. A few more textiles, or flowers in this room would make it more appealing for sure during the colder months.
