The Queens Arms Pub downstairs has nothing to do with the apartments. That was the first of many mistakes and problems. There is a £300 deposit. Make sure you send Government photo ID for each person by email prior to your visit or you will not get code for entry door or apartment. When phoned for help, we were told too busy to help several times when outside trying to access apartments. We eventually got someone on phone and codes given after emailing, calls etc. Bin and toilet holder broken. Steaming hot burning water from taps, so be careful and check before kids use. Start at cold, then turn tap gradually warmer. Yellow stained pillows, rock hard sofa bed. No instructions for appliances. Noisy hall all night with smokers going to smokers roof top area. I got no sleep. The pub downstairs was not noisy. Parking space for one car. The overall flat was clean. TV with Netflix etc was working. All and all though, I would not go back.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The apartment is adequately furnished to sleep 3 comfortably. The living room sofa laid flat to provide a bed for my 12 yr old. We also had access to a rooftop terrace shared space with seating. There is a washing machine in the unit but no dryer. They provided detergent pacs for the washing machine and washing up liquid for the kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked if you needed it and nicely done. You can see the train station from here which makes it easy to use the transit system. The trains are almost silent so it didn’t disturb sleep. Each unit had a parking space. Nice neighborhood. Overall, it is a great value and I would stay here again. Why I didn’t rate 5 stars *There is a full flight of stairs leading up to the unit and another flight leading up to the bedroom. Anyone with bad knees or other problems may have an issue by end of the day. *The bedding provided for the sofa in the living room was tossed onto the floor of a closet. It made me question if it was clean or left like that from previous stay. *Quiet during the week but Friday night, the pub is jumping. More like a club. I would caution families or anyone not wanting to hear that.

Hard work - due to deposits & ID.
Extremely difficult to book, need to send photo ID the pay a large deposit, it took over 6 phone calls to sort all this out. Then takes 3/4 days to get deposit back, all for a 1 night stay.
We stayed on a Saturday and hardly got any sleep due to busy pub below and a taxi rank outside, the last people we heard talking at the taxi rank was 4:30am.
It’s advertised as a double sofa bed in the kitchen area but it was tiny.

Regrettable choice in Huyton!
The place itself is nice. Internally…… its right above a very noise pub doing karaoke till gone 11. The flat is not sound proof at all.
We booked this last minute on a Friday for the Saturday night. At 2pm on the Saturday afternoon i picked up an email saying we need a £150 deposit now and 2 photo forms of ID. 1 for each adult. This is noted in the advert but for them to take that long is unacceptable. If my wife didnt have her ID in her emails from our house purchase we wouldn’t have been allowed to stay, despite being 200 miles from home and an hour from the place. That admin should be instant after the booking if required.
It had no loo roll, lovely salt and pepper shakers but no salt & pepper. No washing up liquid for dishes, no cloths, only 1 wine glass.
The double sofa bed is a click clak one so is the seat and back as the bed and my 2 8 years couldn’t share it. So they had the double bed, i had the sofa bed and my wife had to sleep in the cuddle seat.
The apartment was boiling!! Only 19c outside but we couldn’t have the windows open as the pub music was so loud!!

Quiet and peaceful apart from the first night when there seemed to be a party in the pub downstairs. Replies when questions asked were quick and efficient, took a while to check in but the apartment made out for it. Very clean ,tidy with everything you could need. Comfortable bed, a train station and little shopping centre very close to the accommodation, parking was also available when booked. The area is quiet overall and the apartment seemed taken care of.

Great location with a comfortable yet stylish apartment. Really comfortable bed. Great value for money. Nice and clean. Great facilities. Really friendly staff who are very quick to reply to messages. Had a great chat with one of the female employees who gave us lots of useful recommendations on where was good to go and what to do. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you!
