Phoenix Hotel Liverpool

Stayed on my partner & my first trip to Liverpool , Very clean and comfortable room , friendly staff. Made to feel welcome ,literally have no complaints would recommend this hotel to any other people that would need somewhere to stay , will be 100% returning here when we come back

It’s maybe not 4 stars but a great little hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and simply AMAZING staff. We were going to Anfield .. superb location for this and parking. Decent breakfast . Nice bar area. Was exactly what we were looking for. Would stay again.

Brilliant value. Expected basic room for the cost but room was huge with 2 comfy double beds, newly referbished large shower room. Cold breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff could not do enough for you. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting Liverpool.

We stayed for one night after booking a show at the arena in town..I was abit apprehensive after reading other reviews. We were in room 16. The room was warm, clean and comfortable and perfect for getting our heads down for a few hours. There was tea/coffee making facilities. Hot water for a shower. The car was parked directly outside which we could see from our window. There was a slight drain smell in the bathroom first thing which soon disappeared. We took an uber into town £6 and £12 return. The bar music we could barely hear from our room. The worst noise was a female outside our door in the corridor at 4am so the doors are quite flimsy. The bed a little hard and pillows quite flat but all in all it was very clean and warm and comfortable. Staff were very nice. We didn't stay for the breakfast - there was a mcdonalds 5 mins drive away. It's in a good location, not far from town, clean, warm, comfortable and after a few hours sleep it was ok for what we needed. We got this at a good price and it was perfect for a few hours sleep. Don't let other reviews put you off. It's not 5* but equally not 5* prices

We are very disappointed with ***********. The Phoenix Hotel is not a 4-star hotel far from it. I would say it’s not even a 2-star hotel. We let *********** know that we didn’t stay at the Phoenix hotel right away. We checked out immediately. This is not fair to customers reading that this is a 4- star hotel. The hotel was dirty and smelt like a wet dog. The stair rails were very dusty and the place smelled musty. Very bad experience...definitely not a 4-star. 😢 We stay at the Holiday Inn Express which is a 4-star hotel and Cresta Court in Altrincham and never had a problem with them. I really feel that customers need to know and this review should go on their review. We are putting it on Trip Advisor because we are not happy with what happened to us. We had to drive to Manchester from Liverpool to stay with my brother that night because the Phoenix was not nice. The Phoenix was a very run-down hotel definitely not a 4-star. We paid for this hotel and never stayed there and left immediately after walking up the stairs and seeing the room. We feel like we wasted £68.00 for nothing.

First a big thank you to all the staff working at The Phoenix Hotel. They were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. Our room was clean and spacious as we had a bay window and large walk-in shower room . We had everything we need for a comfortable stay . The residents bar was great to have a drink in on our arrival as the hotel is in a residential area with not to many eateries / bars etc within walking distance. We would happily book again 😃
