Upon arrival, the staff mentioned that I hadn't made the hotel payment. They informed me and showed me that the payment was done through trip.com. I was asked to contact trip.com myself. Luckily, the support service team was available and sorted out the issues within almost 30 minutes. And trip.com given compensation for the booking issue in Liverpool.
The lady at the receptionist said that I need to collect breakfast from the receptionist every day. She also mentioned that it's very basic and not worth the cost. The pictures show the same breakfast given every day. There is always no staff at the reception as well. The Wi-Fi was the worst and always disconnected, and I couldn't connect. The room was not bad, but there was no housekeeping every day. They didn't provide coffee and toilet paper, and the fridge was spoiled. They only provided one roll of toilet paper when I asked for it, saying they would give it but didn't. On the second day, after exploring the town and returning to the hotel, the main door wasn't operating, and I couldn't go to my room. I waited outside in the cold weather for more than 30 minutes.
