Currently staying here in our favourite pub/hotel in Somerset a fabulous location the staff are amazing and very welcoming food is glorious cannot recommend the Litton enough! We will return in December thankfully. A real gem of a place after numerous visits it never fails to impress!

Helpful from beginning to end service exceptional College reunion for 6 old catering students meeting up after 46 years. Can’t say enough about the atmosphere that’s been created here or the staff. Food was sublime wonderfully presented and a delight on the taste buds. Highly recommend the Smoked Salmon mousse and the Duck breast Thanks for making a special occasion great.

We had dinner here in the bar and it was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two dogs (treats and a bowl of water for them). The menu was very varied and everything coming out of the kitchen looked good, our Caesar salad and salad nicoise were substantial and we couldn’t finish the fries we’d ordered. Good wines and beers and and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic place Chose as it was our wedding anniversary Out door seating or indoor Huge selection of drinks Ordered gammon egg and chips with piccalilli which sounds basic but believe me it was the best gammon steak ever and chips were triple fried My wife had vegetarian lasagne with ciabatta which was delicious Food and good value too Attentive staff from the minute we arrived Would recommend definitely

We came for a family meal, we did the trail that was attached/near which was nice and not too far. Food was really good, we all had a selection of things such as salads, ploughman’s and sandwiches and every meal was delicious. A few hiccups such as no ice (lunchtime) forgot chips so by the time I finished my salad they arrived, wrong chips given to another family member when they ordered fries… this was all blamed on a wedding on the same day but if you have a wedding booked then ensure you’re prepared? Anyway staff were great apart from one woman who was overbearingly sarcastic. Would return and recommend.

We had a really fantastic meal here, the food was delicious and the portions were great. The chocolate orange mousse dessert was definitely a highlight! The staff were really friendly and the actual pub itself is very beautiful and well designed. This was my second visit to The Litton and I will definitely be coming again!

The service from all the staff was exceptional - they went above and beyond to assist us - one of us being disabled, so is hard work! The food was also exceptional, and sensibly priced, though a glass of wine is a tad on the expensive side. I can't praise this establishment highly enough.

Really delicious menu,fresh and no evidence of the dreaded freezer/microwave combo. Elegant restaurant which someone has put together with understated rustic warmth. Ample disabled parking.Husband’s cod brioche was crisp,grease free and huge.My pan fried cod with bacon and cabbage classic and perfectly cooked.

I was meeting up with an old friend who I haven't seen for years, and we booked a table for lunch. We received such a friendly welcome, offered water for the table, and given drinks very quickly. As we hadn't seen each other for a long time, we were given a lot of time to catch up before ordering, which was very thoughtful. We both had a Ploughman's, which was huge! I don't eat meat, and so was given additional blue cheese - absolutely delicious. We stayed for 2.5 hours. The restaurant itself is lovely and spacious, with good decor. All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
